Great start by Mogga and surely beating both relegated championship clubs and sitting top of the league is going to attract some further top players?

Any players that were pondering a move will want in to this flair team.

True, being in and around the top earning the plaudits like we are will attract some. Mowbray should plan ahead should we lose Armstrong in Jan.

Obviously we're only 2 games in but if things keep going well and Armstrong keeps scoring then unless Newcastle are seriously considering him for their first team I can see the loan being extended. Why would he want to go elsewhere halfway through the season if we have a shot at promotion and maybe the JPT final?

Long way to go until then but I don't think him scoring in L1 is going to lead to him walking into their first team unless they are really struggling.

I can't see him playing for Newcastle, I wouldn't be massively surprised though if they wanted him to go on loan to a championship club in the second half of the season

Like you say, it depends if Newcastle want / need him back, and if he'll be in or around their first team. Also, if (when) he's still up near the top of the L1 scorer charts, maybe he'll want to stay to grab the chance of topping it.

I reckon that's what Murphy's about to some extent. Still gives up pace and goal threat if Arma goes home in Jan.

Rubbish. If he carries on flourishing here then it's all good. Playing for Huddersfield or some other championship makeweights would be no advantage. They'll either take him back in jan or hopefully leave him here with Mowbray.

He'll be loving it here at the minute.

Bamford was flying at MK Dons and then Chelsea sent him to Derby in the Jan to test him at a higher level

Chelsea and Newcastle are very different. Continual scoring raises his asset value and he's more likely given his age to achieve that at this level.

Goalscorers live on confidence. Why risk him losing his confidence at a different club when he has settled in so well.

Possibly because they have ambitions for him to play in the Premiership and want to keep upping the ante until he's there? Just a wild guess that Newcastle's priorities are different to ours.
