I'll throw a bomb in here
It is Just an opinion
For the bulk of the period where/when we actually succeeded last season and played as a free role 10.
Coupled to this season and the 4 game winning run under Venus then dropped. Through the Checkatrade run.

He only played a bit role in our decent season run last year as team was too good for him I think. This season he did play a role in those winning games but also in some losing games. Am I guessing who you might be suggesting?

He really didn't, quite pivotal until Cole arrived then switched to the right flank.

Expect at least 7 of the under 18s to get contracts. All the back 4 would push for a place in our first team, that is Hickman, Ford, Thompson and Camwell plus Bayliss, Finn and Ponticheli. As a group they are better than the Kelly Evans, Stevenson, Thomas, Harries cohort. All of these should be kept as well. Base the team around these young players plus Willis, Stokes and Kwame Thomas. Stop bringing journeymen in like Clarke and Foley

Maybe the way we have to go; but a whole season for the kids in L2 may be a bit much - especially on the winter bogs, midweek away from home. That said, I'd prefer an early mid twenties up and coming/late developer conference player than a 35 year old end of career player (unless it's Ibrahimovic)

Likely Gone: Willis, Stevenson, Harries, Haynes.
Maybe: Lameiras (on a reduced wage), Maycock, Rose, Beavon.
Get Rid: Burge, Bigi, Nathan Clarke, Reid, Gadzhev, Tudgay, Foley, Yakubu, Finch, Devon K-E, Spence.
Promoted from Academy (Around 1st Team Squad): Camwell, McMahon, Hickman, Bayliss, Finn, Stedman, Ponticelli.

Taking out the "likely gone", this would leave us looking like:

RCC
NEW/DKE - Turnbull - NEW - NEW/Leahy
G.Thomas - NEW/Rose - NEW - J.Jones
K.Thomas - NEW/Beavon

I'm undecided on K Thomas but he's done alright since he came back from injury so probably deserves another chance.

I'd get rid of the rest.

To add to this I don't really know about the youth/u21s to make an informed opinion on them. I guess keep ponticelli and anyone else who isn't shit.
