I'd have been mad at getting that done.
Did you put it it with your Tommy Hutchinson shirt?

I had a Lee Hughes one. I was in the Army and in Bosnia. Vowed to never wear it again then one of the interpreters who was a Red Star Belgrade ultra asked me to swap it for his Croatian Davor Sukar shirt which he refused to wear as he was Croatian and not Serbian. Resullt!

Chris Birchall. He looked great during the world cup before we signed him. Have to be honest, I regretted having it done before I left the club shop.

I still see the Keane one at some matches - i don't think anyone should have any regret great player destined for higher things and he did ! Can understand the Bellend and Hughes getting binned though - not sure many brought shirts in the Wilderness years !!! Still see the odd Konjic as well which is great although my own shirt of that era is a body odour trap after 10 mins of wearing

Wish they'd hurry up and get this shirt back in the club shop.

McSheffery. As I remember, I’m sure my Dad took the top back and got it changed for Kyle, which that in itself is a regret

Willie Boland was a legend for me in sensible world of soccer. I don’t know why but he was, a one man team, unstoppable.
He helped me turn the tide on my mate who usually emphatically battered me every time.
For that i will never forget willie boland

I raise you a Mike Marsh ‘24’ on the home kit that year.

I still don’t know why. Thankfully it vanished during a house move.

You could have simply changed the family name to Keane by Deadpoll

I think in the mid 90s it was about 75p a letter for the name or am I making that up . It was obviously more for the premier league badge on the sleeve . So it was Allways better to go for a shorter name . That’s another question all together longest and shortest names who have played for Coventry . Don’t think you can beat ng at Cardiff

Had Dublin on my shirt when I was a mascot, the man himself loved it and put extra effort in showing us around Highfield Road.

Gone a few weeks later and never trusted a player enough again.

No one mentioned Lee Hughes, Marlon King or even Michael McIndoe here?

Pretty sure there used to be a shop in Bedworth that used to sell the shirts with misprinted names. I probably had a couple from there back in the day but no idea what was on them. Probably rocking about with a goalkeeper top with Wegere on or something.

Ward 5 is probably the worst one I have from 08/09.

Currently in storage with many others.

Keith O'Neill

Looked class at Stockport away, thought we would piss the league with him and Hughes.

Safe to say I was wrong

only ever had 3

Dublin - he left days later and shirt was binned and never worn
Keane - no regrets as he went on to bigger things and not Aston Villa (we ignore that loan it was 12 years later)
Konjic on the red and white striped away ajax looking kit

My brother in law used to work for the TV license people-knocked on a few doors around Leamington where licenses were not showing up as being paid and Deegan answered the door on one of them who had not payed.
