Another great evening and well organised with a great turnout.
Josh Eccles and Jamie Allen were the guests and both spoke really well.
A few funny moments and some great insight into the club under FL.
Both players commented on Haji and we will all be surprised on how much he has bulked up whilst out injured. They said he now looks like a man mountain.

couple of funny moments when they were asked whether Lati’s song had any truth in it and Eccles stated that all he would say is Lati wears pants in the shower.

Josh was also asked about his experience of going out on loan to Gillingham and Steve Evans who was Gillingham manager at the time.
Josh was very honest and said The bloke is a doughnut
He also said that he had heard a few horror stories about him at Rotherham where Liam Kelly is now playing

overall a really enjoyable night

I've heard quite a few interesting stories about Evans from a few people within the game.

Saw him in a pub years ago when he was Crawley manager, night before a game and he was pretty smashed.

Not necessarily a good thing.
Coming back from injury like that has been detrimental to a few players.
Hopefully it's a help more than a hindrance in this case.

I hope that Haji hasn't gone too bulky and lost a bit of his acceleration

Yeah I doubt that the coaches have thought of this.

Think they were talking more about the extra muscle he has put on from being in the gym a lot but yeh I agree one of his biggest attributes is his acceleration.
Be nice if he has the strength and speed of Vic though

If Haji is to take the central role off Simms, then this "bulking" will serve him well I'd imagine.

That's not relevant, injured players go off program.
Happens the other way when players come back from close season/injury and are not in the condition they should be.

I've heard a few from an ex work colleague who's sister married Steve Evans. Evans was shocked that he was acquitted at the Boston dodgy illegal payments court case.

Not sure on this, he's an international for instance?

they were never going to slag him off but they said hes been exellent with the players and sat down with them individualy when he arrived to talk around their needs etc.

Eccles spoke highly of him working with individual players and Simms in particular has really benefitted. Funilly enough Eccles let on that some of the other players were frustrated that Simms didnt always show the ability they knew he had but since Frank has been working with him he has really come out his shell and florished.

they also said they like the fact that Frank gives the opposition fans someback when they give his abuse as it makes it feel like hes one of the team.

They also said in a nice way that Mve is like the kid at school with adhd and is hyper all the time. Also said Patterson has always wanted to ply for us and hes now buzzing he has finally got to play for his home team. He is also a massive joker and always messing around.

About time we had our own SBT fans forum. If N&B, L&W, London and others can do it then so should we. I know it's been mentioned before but I think a lot would be up for it.

I'd rather travel to games in the mad hatters laundry basket driven by Craig Danny.

I genuinely have no idea what a supporters club is? I've never looked into it. What goes on? How often do they meet? Do you get kicked out if you don't turn up? Do I have to wank someone off to join the London one? Etc..
