Steven Pressley is set to hand forgotten wide man Mark Marshall a second chance if he lives up to expectations during a short trial period.
The former Barnet winger has just completed a two-year FA ban from the game after testing positive for the stimulant methylhexaneamine.
The 26-year-old, who started his career with Yeovil, is a free agent and can sign at any time.
He was understood to be the subject of a lot of interest during his successful playing spell at Barnet who were in League Two at the time, where he scored seven goals in 71 appearances.
Comfortable on the left or right, Marshall is desperate to resurrect his career and could be offered that life-line if he impresses the Sky Blues boss.

Fair enough. Biggest concern will be match fitness. He's not going to be stupid enough to get caught on drugs again I'd imagine. In Pressley I trust

Got to offer anyone who has made a mistake like that a second chance. Hope it works for him and I hope when it does he shows more gratitude than Marlon did.

That's more than a second chance, and no, he pissed on the club that helped him get back into football.

If it's Marlon, Ann Lucas won't want to go to Sixfields ever again. :thinking about:
