Agreed. They've had a couple of decent results recently, I though they looked decent going forward and had we been on our game they still would have caused us some problems.
You reckon. They were awful. They were that bad that still after 4 one down we still looked like we were could win this. But we missed 2/3 absolute sitters and defended the worst most folks ever seen.
A bad day at the office is likely the most quoted word amongst the positive ones on here tonight but collectively from front to back all had a stinker of a game.
Still lacked discipline when we came back to 3-1 which Yeovil exploited to put a 3 goal cushion back in place. Ironically might just be the wake up we needed with 18pts the play for.
Thankfully it’s a 46 game season but just shows that a performance like that in a play off game kills your season dead.
I'm a Doyle fan. Never hides, and if we are struggling the team looks lost without him on the pitch. Was saying to my mate that when he finally goes (or his legs do) that is the next big thing for the team - finding a leader. Easy to make cheap jibes when a freak result happens like today, but for me he has been the glue of the team - for his presence rather than ability. P.S. Grimmer badly needs help on that right hand side. The running he is expected to do is ridiculous. No wonder he gets exposed defensively, with all the right wing role he ends up having to do.
Anybody else notice that Hyam (for the 4th goal) seemed to contemplate pulling their guy down when he realised he was being done for pace - stopped himself at the last minute, 2nd goal - McDonald had a brain fart with regard to his positioning - he gifted the bloke that goal, despite the cock up earlier in the move re Doyle.
I Felt that Doyle ran himself ragged today. I dread to think what the score would have been has he not played. At fault for goal number three along with Grimmer, one or two misplaced passes, but interceptions, tackles and headers galore. Comments about him I feel are very unfair.

was purely referring to their forward play. Lots of pace which can get you results in this division.
I've just got up and have relapsed back into a state of shock.

Absolutely correct even i vented my anger at Doyler yesterday.
You could just see how he was trying to GET STUCK in after thr horrer start and lead by example.
Burge 4 at fault for first goal
Grimmer 4 at fault for 3rd goal
Hyam 4 his lack of pace was finally exposed today
McDonald 5 not the same plate as start of season
Haynes 4
Doyle 5 caught out for 2nd goal, got angry ran around in full headless chicken mode giving it away almost everytime he touched it
Bayliss 6 great run for our first goal
Reid 5
Clark Harris 5
Mcnulty 6
Biamou 8
Obrien 4
Barrett 5
We rolled dice trying to get back into it and it didn’t work, freak result
I haven't brought myself to watch the highlights again yet so slightly forgotten who to blame for each goal!
Burge: 3 - i think enough has been said - only really cost us 1 goal mind?
Grimmer: 3 - not his first very poor game - cost us 1 goal?
Hyam: 2 - shockingly bad whenever the ball was near him it felt like a Yeovil goal - cost us 2 goals?!
McDonald: 3 not quite as bad as Hyam i dont think - cost us a goal
Haynes: 3 - Stokes instead? Please?! i can't watch anymore of these throw ins - for that alone drop him
Reid: 5 - looked a threat with the ball in first half, got screwed over with being put at left back
Doyle: 4 - poor game - was getting stuck in and was looking like the only interested player at 3-0 for a while, but cost us a goal
Bayliss: 4 - poor game - looked tired didnt add a lot to us going forward and absolutely nothing defensively.
Vincenti: 4 - poor! but i wouldnt have said he was the worst player on the pitch
JCH: 6 - pretty non descript game
McNulty: 5 - again a non descript game but i'm pretty sure i would have scored that header
Biamou: 9 - brilliant - worked hard, created chances and could have had a hatrick in one half.
O'Brien: 5 -Conceded the same amount as Burge but can't really be held to blame
In summary
defence - shit
Attackers - let down by defence - you shouldnt lose a game if you've put 2 away
