Don't get me wrong, he wasn't good, infact he was terrible, but there were at least 3 worse performers.

You gave McDonald a 5 you clown. Fine you think he should have gone, but not a single player comes out of the first half hour with any credit, and I think they can count themselves lucky they weren't took off.

Clown? Why the abuse?? Out of order!!

Yeah, maybe slightly generous on McDonald. Just didn't see him do anything, where others were making clear and awful mistakes.

Yeah, maybe. I just didn't notice him today. Others were making really bad mistakes and was just watching Yeovil waltz through us. Just didn't see McDonald do anything.

Second goal, decided to double up on their player with the ball to leave the other striker 1 on 1. How about letting the ball always bounce on their goal kicks then being out muscled. He needs dropping after the performance.

Agreed. He needs to start next game. He’s done more in his substitute cameos the past two games than McNulty and JCH put together.

I have stuck for him at times previously, but that was shocking from him and rightly dragged off.

I don't disagree with you about today's performance, but I do disagree if you think Doyle has been poor for months.

For who? We only have Davies and Hyam was arguably ‘worse’ today.

And keep Hyam in?

I would drop Hyam for Davies and keep Rod in.

Totally. He has definitely been one of our best players and looks certain to win player of the season.

He was so slow.

I left after the 5th went in, so I’ll have to wait to see what goal 6 was like.

Burge, 4 — from world class save v Newport to costing us another goal.
Grimmer, 4 — far too many people letting him off the hook on here. Failed to track back for goals 2 and 4.
Hyam, 4 — what an earth were you doing for the second goal? Another hero to zero.
McDonald, 4 — the defence looked so disjointed and he should’ve stepped up and led them.
Haynes, 4 — a lot of people being harsh on him, he was bad, but he looked half decent going forward. Had an awful cross/pass though. Better than Grimmer today.
Vincenti, 4 — rightly taken off. If he buries that chance at 1-0 down, we don’t lose that game.
Bayliss, 5 — played a part in the first goal, he played ok.
Doyle, 4 — at fault for their 2nd. At least he tried to rally the troops.
Reid, 6 — before he got moved to LB, played really well. He was unlucky not come away with an assist with some good deliveries.
JCH, 5 — decent in the 1st half, looked really tired in the 2nd and faded badly.
McNulty, 5 — should’ve done better with his chances.

Subs:

Biamou, 8 — 2 great goals, worked hard, please for him.
LOB, 4 — also conceded 3 goals.
Barrett, 5 — should’ve done better with his chance.

Robins, 6 — unpopular mark. But, I would’ve done the same things. At least you can say we ‘went for it’. To be frank, we had at least 5-6 chances where we should’ve scored. The first 3 goals were all personal mistakes — we weren’t tactically undone by Yeovil. They ruthlessly capitalised on our abject defending. The 2nd half goals, we were left open because we were chasing a game we couldn’t afford to lose.

The players went missing today.

Yeovil had 7 shots on target and scored with 6 of them. Yes we were awful but the scene was set in the first 10 minutes with 2 mistakes which were punished clinically. Games like this happen from time to time. We will beat Notts C on Saturday.

For a few games JCH looked a far greater threat up front than Biamou, but over the past two games he has offered nothing.

I'd drop JCH Saturday.

Easy option? He was atrocious. He even made the fairly bold but ultimately pointless decision to change keeper. Blaming the manager for elementary mistakes by his players is ridiculous.

With the mistakes we made, this is clearly isn’t the managers fault. We had chances to get back in the game. For starts, Vincenti had a simple tap in at 1-0 to equalise it on about 6m in. I think we should’ve went into the break at 3-1 at least. We had plenty of chances but we weren’t clinical at all. He brought Reid in who creating chances before he went to LB.

Bringing Biamou on at 30m was a good decision. We played ‘better’ from then on. Even Barrett had a good chance he should’ve scored. In fact, Vincenti, Barrett and McNulty all missed guilt edge chances. JCH should’ve been in a better position for a cutback from (I think) McNulty.

Why does Haynes get a 1 and Grimmer gets a 4?! Haynes played bad, yes. But Grimmer trotted back for their second and 4th goals. In fact, I think he may have been able to prevent their 2nd. I think he’s a better player than Haynes, but he looked utterly shattered today. His tracking back was v poor.

Fair enough, just thought he kept trying to drive us forward in the second half so gave him a couple of bonus points.

Wasn't sure that was him at the time, but have now marked him down. Definitely partly at fault, along with Doyle.

To be fair, the dodgy ball to Doyle didn't help.
