Thought we looked decent in the first half but tired in the second.

RCC - 6 barely had anything to do
Willis - 7 solid.
Ricketts - 7 calm and composed
Harries - 8 very classy, strong and good anticipation
Kelly-Evans - 7 - looked good going forward and tackling back. Got caught out a couple of times but they were targeting his lack of height with cross field long balls.
Haynes - 5 good going forward. Looks scared on the pitch
Vlad - 6 - a couple of good moments
Rose - 5 - not strong enough to be a midfield enforcer
Jones - 8 - our best outlet until he got kicked relentlessly. We need a plan for this
Thomas - 6 - good running and clever play. Marked down for the one on one
Sordell - 6 - looked good to me but made a few poor decisions

Reid - 5 (not match fit)
K Thomas - 5 did nothing (not match fit)
Lame iras - 6

Biggest areas of concern for me are midfield - No guile or strength on the basis of today, and a goal scorer.

Defence looks solid but won't last the season so backup needed (or better still better quality to come in ahead of what we've got.

If we add a couple of quality players we'll be in a good position.

There was a 6'1 blond guy sat in the stands with stokes, leaghy and Lawton...potentially a new signing...

To have 2 8/10 showed how well some played, especially the kids.

Thanks for the 6" 1 info, here we go again with a height based quiz !

That opens up a lot of avenues

I have been one to criticise Haynes in the past, but its not his fault he was selected today. He will be "rested" when McCann is not supended

Take a point off rose and gadzhev
Give k thomas 2
Then agree with the rest of this

Middle 2 weren't even in the races today
Kelly evans faded terribly after half time

G thomas just isn't ' it '

Interesting that I'm hearing good things about cian harries, and the defense in general, which was the focal point of everyone's ranting about how unprepared we were and were going to get hammered.

Seems they were pretty solid, we hit the post twice, George Thomas fluffed a one on one, we had 6 corners, and only lost 1-0 to Swindon.

Not bad for an inevitable apocalypse

I thought that, good to hear that he had a good game.

It was the positions that we were prepared for that we lacked in from the sounds of it..up front.

How about marks for the Ref - 3 - I thought he was poor (nothing unusual in that), and didn't give us any benefit of the doubt, while letting them get away with quite a bit. Bringing Sordell off at half-time to avoid a potential sending-off illustrates the point - he was getting kicked all over the place, although his "tackle" where he got booked was not a good one.

Speaking to a Swindon fan after the game he said that our defence looked pretty solid and out no10 was great.

Their number 2 was the best player on the pitch and their other centre back were forever pulling Sordell, Jones and Thomas back while they were tying to break

RCC - 6 Nothing to do. Always played it short.
Willis - 7 Seemed solid in defence
Ricketts -7 Again solid
Harries - 8 Best player on day
DKE - 6 Rounded easily in second half but persistent in chasing down players.
Haynes - 4 Lacking confidence always seemed short of time.
Gadzhev - 5 Part of a weak midfield
Rose - 4 Didn't do a lot really. Expect more from a midfielder
Jones - 6 Seemed dangerous but never came to anything
Sordell - 6 Seemed solid and should be good at this level
Thomas - 5 Seems lively but never going to score

Subs:

Thomas - 5 Average but maybe due to fitness
Lameiras - 5 Seemed lightweight. I think he should be better than this.
Reid - 5 Didn't do a lot really
