I think he's had a fantastic week. 3 very good 'Centre Forward' performances.

The standard of our finishing this season outside of Haji has been desperately poor and played a massive part of why we were near the bottom of the tableMate there's some head in sands with ellis genuinley
He's scored 3 league goals this season a goal almost every 400 minutes
3 poor teams who were 5th/8th/10th when we beat them. Really it's the top 4 and then all the rest at the minute.Dovin just gets better and better, took a wicked deflection off one of our own to beat him today, and even the ball looked embarrassed to cross the line!
Torp deserved his goals with a very good display, he's really understanding the championship now and looks fitter and more confident.
Let's not get carried away though, we've had 3 consecutive wins against 3 poor teams, but winning breeds confidence, and when Wright, Sheaf and EMC come back, we'll give any one a game.
Why so polarised
He's very raw with some good physical and technical attributes but he's not putting it all together yet. Only 20 though so there's plenty of reason to think that will come with time.

Still think there's more to come but it's up to him as much as the coaches, geezer needs to want it a bit more imo.
Torp lacked massively in physical and defensive chores.Simms not as good as the last couple of games. Still think BTA is gonna come good but may lose out when players are fit again. Simms will definitely stay in the picture though. Torp admittedly good technically, but still lacks massively in physical and defensive chores.
Bassette will go out on loan at some point. Miles off it, which I get isn’t his fault.
I thought BTA was better than Simms today and I'm far from sold on BTA. I wish Simms had his desire though.Yea I want the lad to do well , but when I see supporters say he's giving very good centre forward displays I'm left scratching my head .

Asante has the same amount of goals as Simms in the league with less minutes played .I thought BTA was better than Simms today and I'm far from sold on BTA. I wish Simms had his desire though.
He’s 5th in the squad for tackles this season and 6th for interceptions.Guess who still gets blown off the ball too easily. It can literally be put however you want to suit you. He ball watches more than Luis Binks.

reminds me of another striker when he came to us on loanHe doesn’t use his height, strength or power at all when the ball comes to him. His control is awful. Just an enigma to me.

I never stated he was.He’s improved, that’s all you’re getting.
