Yeah I'll agree with that. Thought he was really good first half but not great second half. Probably a 6.5 for asante and a 6 for simms. Some of their first touches were terrible at times.

Thought Bassette had a really good cameo as well as getting involved with the handbags as a sub. Closed down very well and should have been put through by Eccles.

Bassette didn't really have much time on the pitch but did win a couple of headers and close them down at the back. Eccles should have played him in after he had done all the hard work.

Dovin two absolutely top quality saves today
Torp couple of good goals
Allen excellent but tired
Rudoni good
Mve much more dynamic
Thomas strong and naughty
Kitching same
Deserved win
Loved the ref blew up on 6 ignoring substitute and bit of time wasting
Loved Lampard swapping Torp and Rudoni regularly
Saka looked energetic
Still working out how to be less open down the sides but can’t question the desire

Torp, Bidwell, Allen, Dovin and Thomas all really good

Loved that Thomas challenge as well. Proper got the crowd going

Assante, running round doing nothing does nt make u a good player. His touch is awful.
Simms wins headers and holds the ball up and lays it off.

He is technically very gifted but before looked very lightweight and it was a concern for me .

He looks fitter , stronger and generally more championship ready now

He's still not strong enough in my opinion. Got muscled off the ball easily on 2 or 3 occasions today but I'm sure he's working on it.

Like a different player to the one who was so poor against Stoke at the start of the season.

Disappointed with both tbf, only in that the both didn't look determined to try and score, but I think Ellis is more capable at taking the ball and moving it accurately but in terms of quality bout equal today?

Thought first half BTA was far more involved. Second half no one was great tbh on either side. Thank goodness for a bit of Torp magic.

Yeah wrong decision by Eccles there and to cap it all his shot was well wide, I thought he could even have tried to carry the ball into the box and maybe get a foul.

We play much better with sheaf out he's to pedestrian fir my liking

Dovin just gets better and better, took a wicked deflection off one of our own to beat him today, and even the ball looked embarrassed to cross the line!

Torp deserved his goals with a very good display, he's really understanding the championship now and looks fitter and more confident.

Let's not get carried away though, we've had 3 consecutive wins against 3 poor teams, but winning breeds confidence, and when Wright, Sheaf and EMC come back, we'll give any one a game.

Bassette is good for an energetic cameo chasing lost causes in the last few minutes in order to protect a one goal lead.....and that's about it at the moment

That save from Dovin at 2-1 which deflected was unreal.

Cant remember last time i felt so comfortable with a keeper both with his hands and feet.

Going to be a prem level keeper - Hopefully with us!
