Think dasilva did well.
Collins and Thomas shocking
Great goal from Palmer but shocking
Godden should have played his last game

Collins was poor for Manures first goal on Sunday too. Our 3 keepers are not good enough.

Poor night for Collins. Thomas was good other than a couple of stinking passes. Palmer was an absolute joke, fed up with watching him. Godden was a waste of time and clearly not even close to this level now. Kelly put the effort in but again just not at the level. A really tired performance which ends our season pretty much. Regroup and start again next season.

Thomas was fantastic until he got knackered. It was clear he needed to come off. Don't know why he didn't have the gel that Allen threw at him as he sold collins short immediately after for the goal.

Well a lot of tired players out there tonight, we can excuse them to an extent Sheaf was pretty quiet and Thomas was knackered but Palmer and Godden were dreadful, Godden was overtaken at will, not entirely his fault and I understand why he was played but Palmer apart from his goal was wasteful almost every time he had the ball and kept giving them the ball back. The FA cup has really cost us another chance at the play offs taking our eye off the game at a time when we really needed to push on but what a magnificent season the lads and management have given us, back to the drawing board for next season and hopefully we can mount a more sustained effort PUSB thanks for great memories this season

You can't give Palmer a 2 for giving the ball away every time he got it then score Eccles, Godden and MVE way higher as they all gave the ball away more than Palmer.

It’s a pretty low bar when I’ll be pleased to see a league game where we don’t score for the opposition.

Did you go tonight? MVE wasn’t great, but could pass to someone in Skyblue. Eccles was steady eddy and could pass to someone in Skyblue. Even Godden got the ball down a few times and found a teammate.

Palmer has just put in one of the most inept performances I’ve ever witnessed. It was appalling

Scored a goal and created 4 of the 6 chances.

There was at least 4 or 5 players worse than him tonight.

No doubt it was Palmer's fault that Collins chucked two in his own net.

What makes it even worse, hes fresh as a daisy, didn’t have to run his balls off for 120 minutes on Sunday. If I was his team mates, I’d be pretty pissed off with him

Aside from one suicide pass Thomas was very good. He was dead on his feet with 20 mins to go asking team mates not to pass to him.

Difficult night, fatigue played a part, but also unfair on Godden. No height in the front line, we know he has no pace and not the player to lead the line in that set up on his own. He was poor, but nothing helped the way he plays. Kelly and Palmer other fresh players. Kelly wasn't progressive enough, sidewards and backwards and too slow, Palmer frustrating as hell. He did some great things, scored a good goal, but sloppy in possession. Struggle to score a lot of that in fairness, but they were flat and we gifted goals. 5s and 6s probably harsh, but not sure anyone worthy of a 7 other than Da Silva who I thought did well and probably my motm.

Collins a night to forget as he's not fatigued, but everyone else, recover and simply move on to the next.

Fatigue clearly a huge part, some very disappointing performances. Struggling to really recall the last time Lati looked okay, let alone good

Robins just said he’s been managing a calf injury for a while that caught up with him today and he’ll probably be out injured now.

-Collins 4

Opinions divided but the bottom line is that Wilson kept about 20 clean sheets last season and Collins has a fraction of that. Cost us the game and any chance of playoffs / keeping O’Hare etc. gets beaten at the near post too often.

-Lati 5

Out of form or out of position - possibly both. Not steady enough of late.

-Thomas 5

Erratic.

-Binks 6

Steady

-JDS 7

Read the game well enough - best performance for a while.

-Bidwell 6

Steady

-Eccles 7

Tidy enough to be fair. Wasted a couple of good crossing opportunities and opportunities to just hit it and see what happens. It’s something that needs to be looked at on the squad, apart from Cal (Sunday) and Torp we don’t have anybody who just has a crack at the goal and see what transpires.

-Sheaf 7

Same as Eccles

-Kelly 7

Looked competent

-Palmer 7

Happy to be shot down, saw some good stuff from him, good goal, spun his man and had his shirt pulled massively, tidy passing and receiving. From me, a 6 with a plus one for the goal.

-Godden 5

Doesn’t offer much.

subs

-Simms 7

A handful.

-Wright 7

Awkward and direct.

-MVE 5

Not his best match.

-Kitching 6

Quiet

Allen 5

Offers nothing. Came on fresh, put through on goal with a decent ball and was caught in no time. Doesn’t have the speed or strength at this level.

If that's the case makes it even weirder how he's been picked all the time while others are rotated, even to the point where he's having a mare and instead someone else is subbed off and Lati moved to a different position.

He’s like the nice kid you use as filler in your seating plan. He gets games because others need the rest and he can fill in all over. Also he’s clearly rated by the management team and has been picked as captain which suggests he’s important in the dressing room. The witch hunt against him is just weird.

Palmers stupid flick ons to Godden were absolutely ridiculous. Never getting on to any of them even if he did have a bit of pace. Such a frustrating player as he is obviously talented, but decision making is sooo so poor.
