Swansea are a good side. The way we totally dominated them for large periods of the game shows how good we are.

Tats - Like another O’Hare. Brilliant strength, trickery and pace. Was on the end of 2 shocking tackles that didn’t even result Free kicks.

Simms - F*cked up a couple of times when he came on at first. Then showed real target man quality, and that turn and run he did was Regis-esque. Hope supporters are patient with him. He will be a big player for us.

Kelly - Thought he was terrific when he came on.

Palmer plays today, we win that game.

O’Hare and 3-4 more signings to come in

Most exciting squad and manangment team since 1987

I just read that post out loud, and you pronounced van Ewijk wrong.

MVE is starting to look pretty good , when he's used to his new teammates and understands more what's required of him tactically , he will be an absolutely great signing

That move where he crossed / passed inside for Wright first half said what he's all about, would have been a brilliant goal but Wright didn't quite catch it

Better than 1989 when we came 7th in the country (and spent a long spell in 3rd?).

Don’t know if anyone looks at this after a game but I usually just see how the stats line up and one positive to take out of the game is that our passing accuracy stats are very high which is good, quite often in the past we would often misplace passes but majority of the team bar three players were all around 85% and above.

The three players being the front three of Godden, Sakamoto and Wright but understand they will be trying to play advanced creative passes into the whole which don’t always pay off. Sakamoto and Godden were 78% but interestingly Wright’s was 46% which needs some improvement but I’m sure will improve as he gets used to us and works with our coaches but overall this is very pleasing to see, stats weren’t this high majority of last season
