Hes only 33, he might win promotion to the premier league, I have no doubt that a team in League 1 would offer him a 3 year on a minimised wage.

I have no doubts about his ability. I’d give him another year. But no team is giving him a 3 year deal with his injury record, not with the wages he would now be demanding.

Wilson 9

Clean sheet, out quickly when it mattered. I absolutely hate timewasting - unless it’s Ben Wilson. He’s got it to a fine art.

RUN BNC 9

Still looks awkward as, telescopic legs and all that. Fine performance though. Kept Giles to long inaccurate crosses.

McNally 9

Kept the Middlesbrough defenders quiet. Proper defender.

Fadz 8

Loses marks for worrying me going off. Convinced Panzo would do something inexperienced and they’d score.

Doyle 8

Good performance. Unlucky to be booked and had to be careful.

Bidwell 9

He’s a better defender than attacker by far. Has improved as the season has gone in and he’s learned our system. Bidwell did well.

Kelly 9

Midfield General who kept to the plan. Excellent positioning and marshalling.

Sheaf 8

Better with him in the team. Very few loose passes and kept calm. Not so calm in the attacking penalty area though.

Allen 8

His high pressing and harrying and positioning to block and score intercept are second to none. Should have buried his chance mind.

Hamer 10

What a performance. The best player on the park. Got a suspicion he had an old fashioned needle in that knee so he could play. If he did, that’s commitment.

Gyok 8

Did the job up front on his own. They had to double up on him which left space for our high press. Hasn’t scored from open play in a while - he’ll sort that at Wembley.

On the pitch and jumped well as he went towards the fans at the end. Best jump he’s managed all season.

No idea where to write it but I haven't seen anyone mention that defending from Dabo. The best bit of defending I've seen from a Coventry player. From the away end their man was away and it looked like all Dabo could do is swipe him out. Somehow he did him. Unbelievable.
