4 home wins on the trot for Brizzle and that is a very good win.

Very consistent from all today.

7’s with Allen and Gustavo 8

Vic with a 9 just because of sheer staying power and leading the line all game-fucking legend.

Gustavo and Gyok 8
Moore 7.5 with the crucial saves

Everyone else 7

Bidwell a little flappy at times when there a little calm was needed. But overall okay

Shipley got done a couple of times despite having the freshest legs on the pitch

Kane & O’Hare 3 - Dreadful

Hamer 8 - Instrumental in both goals, but gave the ball away a lot

Moore 8

Maatsen 7

Rest 5 or 6

Robins 4 - Left changes too late as per and decides to bring on Shipley of all people.

The last minute winner does not detract from the fact it was a piss-poor second half performance.

Hamer was simply brilliant - what a fucking player.

Fans brilliant as well from the 1st minute.

Fantastic scenes at the final whistle - makes me very proud to support this club.

Surprised with the high scores for Vik, thought he was poor in possession tonight and looked absolutely knackered which reflected in his decision making on the few times he did get the ball to feet. Was there when it mattered most though and was a good finish.

Hamer and O’Hare outstanding , Vik frustrating but scored the winner , Allen and Kane disappointing . Encouraging performances from Bidwell who looked solid and Maatsen playing out of position

Moore 9 - The decision making of whether to come or not was exceptional and the timing was perfect. So easy to give a pen on that last one - if the ball comes loose from his grasp the ref gives a pen there. Did so well to hold on tight.

Gus 8 - Ran the show on the ball and ran his legs off, off it. Work rate matched O’Hare and Allen but with an end product. I think that’s 4 assists in 2 games?

Most of the rest 7’s.

Bidwell and Kane 6’s.

Given how rejuvenated Hamer looked after his break imagine what they could do if we had the chance to rotate a bit and give players a rest?

I thought Gyo did well. He had a real battle all night, but was a real handful for their defence. Always a nuisance, always looking like he could do something.

Agree with all of this Martin - although I thought Allen was very good until he tired after running his socks off for the team.

The Allen/Hamer/Maatsen midfield looked like a very decent unit first half.

The pass from Hamer for the winner was technically brilliant.

Allen disappointing but o'hare outstanding? Not sure there was anything in it to be honest

Hamer, maatsen and Moore very good games, kane probably the weakest but didn't look fit, everyone else fine

Great result... roll on Saturday

Totally agree , for me he was too blame for much of the Bristol City pressure . He struggled to retain possession and his distribution at times was abysmal , kudos to him for keeping going and finishing well when given the opportunity

Moore incredible tonight.

Allen’s work rate brilliant.

Gus’ quality of pass and intensity beyond this level.

Gyok one of my favourite strikers we’ve had. Can do everything.

As much as I love Godden. Gyo is the only player that can play that lone role that effectively and I think having the three in midfield is so important. Look such a better team with 1 up front and strangling the midfield.

I felt frustrated with his inability to relieve the pressure by holding the ball up and some simple passes were wayward

Moore 8
important saves, never feel nervous, lovely hands.

McFadz 7
he's slow, but pace doesn't matter when you look like he does.

Hyam 7
used to come accross as meek. Now he's become much nastier in a good way.

JCS 8
very tidy. I'd mark him down because he was a bit sloppy last ten mins but probably exhausted.

Kane 4
sorry mate, wasn't your day. We haven't given up on you though.

Dabo 6
decent cameo and didn't even look that rusty.

Bidwell 6
still doesn't look confident, but looked better than in his previous games

Allen 7
decent enough and plenty of energy, sometimes not on the same wavelength as his midfield partner. Should have come off on 70 minutes when he looked like he was dying.

Hamer 8
two big assists. Yes he doesn't help keep possession like your boring midfielders, but he did what he was meant to today. Also, covered a lot of ground.

O'Hare 7
probably should have scored that chance he created for himself. Still involved in everything we do. Bust a gut to make a run alongside Hamer for Gyokeres goal.

Maatsen 8
great finish. Could have had another aswell to be fair.

Gyokeres 8
for some reason I knew he would score that chance. Less involved today and another one that looked knackered. Great celebration too.

Shipley 5 didn't really get too involved.

Bristol 8
First game we played them they looked shite. Much improved today.

Saw some amusing comments on their forum about our "drawl". Imagine saying that when you sound like a farmer and your fans only have one song, "come on you reds", which can only be repeated constantly when you're not losing.

The midfield position suits Maatsen and he has goals in him. Kane really poor and time to bring Dabo back. Bidwell starting to look better to me.

Moore, Hamer and Gyokeres outstanding.

Yes, making runs is an important part of football. I don't praise everyone, just O'Hare when he runs.

I thought Moore was comfortably our best player. Made some crucial decisions coming off his line. People giving Kane and Bidwell the same rating is a bit baffling. Bidwell was fine tonight, but his “reputation” precedes him. Kane had a stinker.

I actually thought Gus had a sub standard game bar two moments of magic which won is it, I guess that contradicts itself, but bar those two moments he gave the ball away a lot and we lacked someone in midfield to win it. Didn’t think we were very good at all but we battled hard, got three points and it doesn’t matter at all.
