Memory is hazy but for the second goal did Wilson ponder on the ball and then play it to hyam with a striker about half a yard away? I mean wtf is that about. There's playing out from the back then there's pure stupidity

Wilson 5 Looks shaky now and defence also starting to get the jitters.

Dabs 7 Dabs of old and our best player on the night by a mile although tried to do it on his own.

Giles 5 Was happy he was in for McCallum but wasntreally an improvement.

Hyam 4 Unusual for him but had a stinker. Just hoof the ball anywhere and it’s not a goal.

McFadz 6 Not too bad.

Ostigard 6 See McFadz.

Allen 5 Got into some great positions, especially 1st half, but pull the trigger!

Sheaf 5 Bad mistake that it seems he hasn’t really learned from and has got away with it in previous matches but not tonight.

O’Hare 5 Shoot or release it quicker!

Hamer 5 Passes were off tonight and probably thought he would himself try and shoot-about the only one who did.

Godden 5 Didn’t get into the game and it just passed him by really.

Subs-

Biamou 4 Didn’t bring anything to the party.

Shipley 3 Stole Max’s bottle to bring to the party.

Bapaga 5 Chased and harried and over exuberance meant he gave away some silly free kicks.

Robins 7 Game really was done when the 2nd went in. Not really sure how the finger can be pointed at the manager for a decent display ( for 60 minutes) and 3 individual errors. Called it how it was that we played well on the night but need to stop these individual errors and learn to shoot and on that basis he watched the same game as me.

I didn't like the way Wilson seemed to point out where Hyam 'should' have been before playing it to him anyway. A cooler head would've just said nah and looked to other options i reckon.

O'Hare has been awful all season. He gets away with so much because he runs around a lot. I have never seen a player so utterly useless within 25 yards of goal.

Can someone also please tell me what Giles offers? Can't defend, can't beat a man, no pace and average crosses. Send him back to Wolves.

Dabo and Hamer the only two who came away with a bit of credit tonight. I feel bad for Hamer having to play with the shite around him.

We desperately need two or three new players in January.

O’Hare is the best of a bad bunch so he’s starting ahead of anyone else,agreed we need players in most on here don’t think we have money tho so it might not happen

I see Ostigard missed another sitter header within 6 yards again as well. I make that 5 for the season. No point getting on the end of them if you can't hit the target.

All players will make mistakes at some point look at Fadz but he's been pretty solid of late, it was Hyams turn tonight although in recent games some of his passing has been off especially to McCallum where there should be an easier outlet if someone shows from midfield so we will excuse him, Sheaf on the other hand always has a mistake in him, I actually quite like him as a player but sometimes he is just too lax but I guess he is just a young player so he should get a bit of slack UNLESS he doesnt learn by his mistakes and keep making the same ones.. O'hare is probably trying way too hard and needs someone to get in his ear on the pitch and get him to pass earlier, he's like a poor mans Grealish so we have Hamer who is trying to do the midfield more or less on his own and he needs help before he thinks sod this I want to leave!! On commentary tonight its not gone unnoticed that he is a very decent player at this level we just need to addsome quality with him so he dont feel he has to do too much.. Max as much as I like him as a person is just not good enough and Baka is nowhere near good enough along with Shipley who isnt doing enough not just for me but for plenty on here ...we can't all be wrong.. Kasta ..surplus Hilsner...no idea atm ... Tonight PNE were there for the taking but we didnt have enough quality to take them and barring a couple of Hamer shots and a cross come shot from Dabo we never really troubled their goalie

I think frustration is getting the better of most of you. We played well tonight. We looked like the only winners first half. We were unfortunate to give a silly goal away but we kicked on. Second half not so good but still looking likely. Another poor goal from a scramble in the 6 yard box and our luck runs out, not because of better opposition. But that's football. There was lots of endevour from the team, but we just lacked that final end product and slice of good fortune, and to some extent run of the ball. On another day we would have done enough to get something but sometimes it just doesn't go for you. Dabo and Hamer looked a cut above anyone else on the pitch. The subs were a wild card for once from Robins at 2 nil down, throw them on and have a go. But it didn't materialise. It's devil you do and devil you don't. We all must have felt the way the game went first half we were confident of getting a result. Sheaf, Allen and Hamer were running the show. We do need to address O'Hare's role though. Great winning free kicks, but on the ball he seems to run into an alley every time, and that creative spark seems missing? We need a creative playmaker in the middle. Some one with experience and not just a journeyman. Another 'Dennis Wise' style figure. But overall I'm not concerned. Yes no goals in the last few games, but that happens and it will break soon enough. Godden will get chances, and it's a fair bet he will put one or two away. Preston were fortunate tonight and got the rub of the green, simple as.

Yep he pointed to where he should be or where he wanted to play it, and despite being marked he played it to him anyway. Thing is, I love dom but i watched after Allen cconceeded the free kick he didn't even look at Wilson. I'd have been at him with a fucking bollocking.

We don't have anyone who does that. Mistakes are applauded for trying. Doyle would have had Wilson by the throat for that pass

A poor man’s Grealish would be incredible in this division, but O’Hare is nowhere near that standard. He needs a rest.

He can do at least three of those things, I’ve seen it with my own eyes. He has all the attributes of a good attacking midfielder (where he excelled for Shrewsbury), he’s just miscast as a LWB.

Yes Hyam didn’t have his best game today. But he is a good no nonsense defender. Who’s strength is old fashioned defending. Not the best going forward.

Problem we have no other option as Rose is right footed.

Hyam is right footed. We need one on loan or a Badlan special through the door in the summer. We’re so weak down our left and Hyam plays us into trouble so much.

I would love it if we could pick up Leo on a free in the summer and spend some money on the LCB position. Rose Leo LCB would be a solid 3 for years.

Where’s the hate for O’hare come from? In fact, as I think about it, where’s the hate for any of our players come from? It was always going to be a big ask to stay up and at the moment we’re on track.

Edit: I turn the air blue most of the time when watching us.
