Marosi man of the match.

Biamou and Bakayoko had a great first half, not so much second but a great goal.

Marosi 7
Dabo 6 - struggled with Eisa a bit but didn't think Westbrooke was particularly helpful
Rose 7 - some misplaced passes but solid defensively
McFadzean 6 - caught out for their goal but won a lot in the air otherwise
Hyam 7 - similar to Rose
Mccallum 7 - good backwards and forwards, needs to cut the soft fouls out but handled Maddison well
Kelly 7 - was tired second half and made a few sloppy passes
Westbrooke 6 - did really well in the build up to Biamou goal, needs to be more assertive
O'Hare 6 - very talented just makes the wrong decision, could see what he was trying to do for the equaliser but late on just put your foot through it
Biamou 8 - worked really hard and didn't give them any peace, missed a much easier chance than he scored
Bakayoko 7 - was very good first half but lost his aggression second and got beaten to everything

Shipley 4 - the way he flapped that tackle is unforgivable
Watson 5 - did OK but not anywhere near as good on the ball as Dabo

I’d agree with the marks. All deserved credit for their skill, application and hard work. Very good performance against top of table side. Need better game management in final few minutes. But I can’t knock the performance.

For me they all seemed to do fairly well 6’s and 7’s across the board with exception of Max who I thought was an 8 and gave us something up front we have been missing. But MoM Marosi also an 8. With the exception of a couple of kicks can’t remember him doing anything wrong.
Why was Bakas 2nd goal disallowed?

Marosi 8 Very good all round

Dabo 7 Better first half but got pushed back second half not helped by his yellow card.

McCallum 7 Defensively sound but a tad disappointing with his final ball when in good crossing position.

McFadz 6 Generally ok but let them back in with the Penalty

Hyam 7 Usual composed display again

Rose 7 Same as Hyam

Kelly 7 Really at it first half but tired in the second and gave away one or two balls.

Westbrooke 6 Bits and pieces as usual-not really going to get the plaudits

O’Hare 7 Always looking to get us on the front foot-another decent showing but should have scored early doors

Baka 7 Can’t fault him today-good goal and performance till he went off. More of the same please.

Biamou 8 Ironically missed a couple of easy chances and scored a belter. A good all round center forwards display.

Subs-
Shipley 4 Could he have done better in the build up to the equaliser unless I have mistaken him for someone else?

Watson 6 Not as mobile as Dabo but done a job.

We would have taken a point before and the overall performance was very good. Follow it up now hopefully with 3 points next time out.

Although I wasn't there and simply from what I could hear on IFollow:

Fans 9

Tremendous support from the opening minute and outstanding to hear the Sky Blue song even after the very late equaliser. Outstanding.

3-5-2 worked very well again to the point where Peterboro changed their formation.
As others have pointed out, Kelly understandably tired in the final 3rd.
I thought Westbrooke was more than decent but would like to see Kelly and Walsh play together at some point.
High marks for McCallum but shows his inexperience in some situations; looking forward to seeing Mason in this formation.
As others have pointed out looking forward to seeing Kast charge on and cause some havoc in a front 2 in the final 30 minutes - his pace and physicality will be problematic for tiring defences.

Indeed. £28 though pay on the gate told it’s own story with lots voting with their feet. Someone earlier mentioned it was cheaper to get in and watch Man City v Villa today. Not sure how true that is though-haven’t looked.

To be fair our fans had a performance for them to get excited about great team performance barring a 20 minute start to the 2nd half

Yes great support for the whole team yesterday from first minute until after final whistle. The team played well so that helps. What I don’t understand is why sometimes we get brilliant support from fans intent on watching the game and at others get toxic support from many to out of it to even realise they are at a match.

Yesterday was as good a ‘crowd performance’ as you can hope for. Noisy, supportive from minute 1 and I didn’t see a single pissed up/coked up twat anywhere. Maybe the steeper price put them off? Either that or it’s not a ‘fashionable’ away day. The extra £3 for football is off putting when you’ve got £100 to put up your nose.

Probably because it was the 1500 odd that go to every single away day and not the big day out crowd there for the 'sesh'.

135 mins of football we’ve played in 352 I’m certain they will get better week on week now using it

I think I'd gp with following ratings wise

Marosi 8 - Very Good
Dabo 6.5 - Not his best game TBH but I like him as a player
Rose 6.5 - Some good bits some bad bits of passing when gave ball away in dangerous positions.
MacFadzean 6.5 - Great in the air a bit clumsy on the ground think we are better with him in the side though
Hyam 6.5 - I really rate him he was a bit weak yesterday but think he will be invavluable for us over the season.
McCallum 6.5 - Like him but he did get skinned a bit too easily at times put some quality crosses in attacking wise though
Westbrooke 6.5 - Think personally he is a bit of a find and gets lots of unfair stick
Kelly 7 - Good still yet to reach full fitness following injury great corss for second goal great to have him back
O Hare 6.5 - Has undoubted quality a bit marked down for part in equaliser for Peterborough
Baka 6.5 - Worked hard and delighted for him he scored well taken goal.
Biamou 7.5 - Caused them all sorts of problems on the day and a great goal to boot!

Subs:

Watson 6 - Solid but not Dabo think he will be fine though to step in for Dabo's suspension next Saturday
Shipley 6 - Not on long enough but ok when he came on - not too long to make an impact.

SBA 9 - Superb!

In the build up to the second equaliser. In midfield there is a ball to be won which he flaps out of

Suggest you have another look at it and take your blind hatred if him to another thread. It wasnt him, will you be downgrading your score of the culprit to 4 or accept there were plenty of opportunities to win that ball from 3-4 players none of whom are Shipley?
