Pre 80 mins, everybody 5.
Post 80 mins, everybody 7.

Robins, 2. Dreadful tactics standing off and gifting them 3 easy goals. As soon as Ponticelli came on and we got at them we scored. Should of gone at them from the start. Why it took 80mins for us to pressure them is beyond Me.

That's one thing I reckon you can judge a player on straight away. I'm pretty sure he completely bottled his first 50/50 for us. That's it for me then.
The old arc your run slightly so you don't quite make it there in time so you've got an excuse, except he still made it in time and didn't know what to do then.

He also bottled a number of tackles at MK Dons, doesn't look interested, you can forgive a lack of skill but not effort. If it was just today then you could say an off day, but it been every game so far.

He was a passenger at FGR too. Might as well of played with 10 men with him on the pitch!

You wouldn't mind, but he wouldn't look out of place at wasps so he could do some damage in the tackle

throw the extra stone he's carrying into the equation and you know he's a wrong 'un.
Young lad hoping to become a pro letting himself go like that tells me everything about him.

Burge 6 Got the jitters early with a couple of fumbles but couldn’t do anything about the goals.
Grimmer 6 Not bad while he was on-thought he was one of the better ones till he went off.
Haynes 5 Abysmal-most things down his side-gets an extra point as he had a reasonable last 15.
Hyam 5 Just a steady player really but had a tough afternoon trying to cope with Ulloa and Locadia.
Willis 5 Same as Hyam and lost his battle for the 2nd goal.
Barrett 3 Over weight pub player-bottler who ducks out of 50/50’s.
Shipley 5 One or 2 decent set plays but on the whole disappointing. Didn’t help with Haynes behind him.
Kelly 7 Better than of late and didn’t give the ball away at all! Still a bit sideways and backwards though.
Bayliss 6 Had a decent run first half and as usual tried to go forward.
McNulty 6 Ran his socks off but no chances were created for him so was feeding on scraps.
JCH 8 Had a beast of a game. Got in amongst them and ruffled a few feathers and not overawed. Deserved his goal-Biamou take note.
Biamou 5 a poor mans JCH.
McDonald 5 Put forward a couple of decent balls but pressure was off us when he came on for last 20 minutes.
Ponticelli 6 Fresh legs when needed and really put a shift in.

Robins 6 Didn’t understand why he didn’t go for it from the start with nothing to loose? Maybe we all think we are better than we are and Brighton really were a cut above us. But glad we scored a goal at least.

Fans 8 Went a bit quiet understandably after the early goal but got behind them well generally.

Mention also to the Brighton fans who had a Sisu out banner in the home end-great effort! :emoji_thumbsup:

Bloke on the phone in said we should ha e played biamou from the off and if we used Haynes in the first half as we did in the second we’d have at least drawn - not joking

Certainly I’d biamou had been on for Barrett from the off we would have done better both going forward and covering Haynes. If Barrett playing out of position why not biamou?

Barrett overweight ? We've had a few chunky players, Micky Quinn liked a pie or two, but knew where the net was. I remember a player John Smith in the 60's wasn't exactly svelte, but could play a bit. Weight is only a problem if the player is crap !

Didn't see or hear the game today, very disappointed to hear about Barrett's performance, especially with Maguire-Drew looking awful so far.

Ah yes we should have gone at Premier League opposition right from the start, it's not like they have a £15mil striker up front or anything.

FFS mate get a grip, we're in Division 4, we can't go after Premier League teams like that, we'd get destroyed.

We did get destroyed when we sat back and let them play. They could and should have been about 4 up by half time.

So what you suggest we should of done? Stand off them and hand them 3 goals! We went at stoke from the off, unsettled them and gave them no time to think. We stood off Brighton allowing them to ping 50 yard diagonal balls to unmarked men all game.

Baffled he even gets there, that standard must be shite if he bosses it with his fitness levels.

Still no idea why he isn't given extra fitness to do. There's no point him going for the strength approach when he hides from a tackle, so he needs to go for the small and pacey approach.

Jeez there’s some shockingly bad ratings for the team here. Yet the team were clapped off and Mark Robins name was sang out loud and proud.

I think obviously these brainless folks were thinking we were playing against Accrington at home again.

Last 30 mins in fact 2nd half we were a match for this lot. Very proud of the team. Hit the crossbar and hit the post too!

Personally, I think his introduction changed the game for us. Should of come on for Barrett at half time tbf.
Injected pace and directness which we lacked completely until he came on.
