As much as I agree rudoni is motm .. instead of arguing with linesman stay switched on because the ball was thrown to the man you should have been on from the throw in and they went on to score ... little things but you have to stay disciplined

Collins 5

MVE 8
Lati 7
Kitching 7
Dasilva 6

Grimes 7
Sheaf 6
Rudoni 6

Wright 7
Simms 7
Sakamoto 6

Why did Rudoni argue with the linesman instead of getting in shape? His manager sets the example. Well done frank

Dasilva should’ve been off for Bidwell long before the goal. Expecting a tired performance Friday given our failure to use the bench.

Collins 6
MVE 7
Lati 7
Kitching 7
Da Silva 7
Grimes 7
Sheaf 7
Rudi 8 (motm)
Sakamoto 6 (please try and have a go at goal or something that isn't a backwards pass)
Simms 5 (you've got to put your chances away)
Wright 5 (see Simms)

Subs
Bassette 6
Patterson 5 (loses a point for trying a back heel to JDS when he had space to go into)

Lampard 6 (good performance but time and time again we look so open even in games we're on top in, today the team needed to drop off as Hull had no threat at all apart from getting in behind. Leaving them 60 yards of space is stupid.)

Really should have won that had so many chances to get a second and didn’t take them then DeSilvs shows that even though he’s had several good games yet again he’s out of position. He’s supposed to be a defender trouble is he can’t defend and has little idea where he should be on the pitch.

Overall classier team and certainly put in the effort.

Obviously disappointing to drop two vital points. Thought beforehand a game must not lose rather than must win.

If we had the goalkeeper from Hull based on tonight's performance, play off's would have been secured ages ago.

Thought much the same, probably our best passer against Portsmouth too( more of an indictment of the outfield players there though).

Not his fault but he had zero saves to make. His passing was fairly good, but had very little to do. Just checked and his passing accuracy was 61%. So even his passing wasn't that good, especially when you consider his seasons average is 70%. Pandurs was 88.7%

Most of Pandurs passes were 5 yards , at least Collins was trying to hit our forwards early .

He completed 9 of 24 attempted long passes. It's nothing to write home about. 6 is a good mark.

Lets be real we deserved to win that because we hammered them, Dasilva, Rudi and Haji great performances, Simms lively unlucky to not score, Kitching very physical got in the mix with that shitter Gelhart, both goals for each side lucky deflections but we should have capitalised and scored a few from the guilt edged chances we had, 2 from Simms, 1 from Haji to count a few

Collins 6.5
Van Erwijk 8 motm
Latibeudiere 7.5
Kitching 7
DaSilva 7.5 (thought he was superb before the goal. They targeted his side and was solid. One lapse was costly)
Sheaf 6
Grimes 7.5
Rudoni 8
Sakamoto 6
Simms 7
Wright 5

Paterson 5

Rudi outstanding.

Defence was decent, but no presence without Thomas and we had some great ball delivery tonight, where arguably without him, he was missed as much in attack as defence.

Sheaf played well in the middle, looked a bit more advanced than normal, couple of sloppy balls but at least they were when trying to be progressive, however if he's playing as 8 not 6, then he needs to contribute goals too. Forwards and wide was all a bit meh. Did ok, without being a huge threat.

Collins didn't have a lot to do so hard to score, distribution ok but a bit slow to release. In the ground I thought he should have done better with the goal but it was far end and I understand DaSilva deflected it, not seen it back yet.

How long left on Rudi and MVE's contract? Im really worried if we don't get out of this div this time they're going to be hunted in the summer.

Rudoni 8, MVE 8, Grimes 7.5
Simms 4 (can't control a football, zero anticipation, and can't finish)
Everyone else 6.5/7
Sakamoto needs to be more positive on the ball instead of looking for the easy backwards pass, he's no longer the goal threat that we saw last season.
Wright, woeful finishing.

Thought Lampard failed to manage the last 15-20 minutes of the game in terms of tactics and subs and it cost us.
As right as he got it last Wednesday, he got it wrong last night.
Hopefully he learns from that.

Did you watch the game ?
Dasilva was superb and could do nothing about the goal.
Simms slightly better than Wright but both were wasteful and the reason we never came back with 3 points.

Dasilva played well for most of the game, but was massively out of position for the goal.

Fair point re Simms and Wright. I was probably judging them relative to their poor standards from recent games. Both were much more proactive, but yep, wasted good chances

His use of subs is worse than Robins, but the run we have been on it has masked it somewhat. Sheaf understandably was blowing out of his arse after an 60 mins, Allen should have come on.

Rudoni self evidently motm. Can we keep him?
MVE and Sheaf also had good games.

Every time I see JDS scampering to catch an opposition winger left unattended my heart sinks. In the same situation you would always back MVE

Collins could do nothing about the goal and his distribution was very good (it has always been a strength).

Tats. Back to his old habit of always passing back. Thought he had lost that.

We so lack a clinical striker in the mould of Godden or Adam Armstrong.

Lampard - much too slow with subs. Again. Compare and contrast with the Hull manager

Said as much in the match thread , we needed an input of energy in midfield and Allen should've come on sooner

Or maybe his use of subs is just right hence the run we been on?

Maybe Allen was carrying a knock or Ill? Maybe he just didn't want to drop intensity in closing minutes and didn't want a cold sub in the middle. We just don't know

Sheaf was tired at end but I. Injury time he put MVE through down byline so it's not like he was a shocking liability in closing moments either

Both fullbacks played well I thought, happy that Dasilva has looked decent again as Bidwell had gone the other way. Wouldn't say anyone particularly played poorly but when Sheaf is in possession in an attacking sense you don't expect much to happen so I'm not sure where he fits in this team now. If Simms had a reliable first touch he'd be lethal
