MVE got 2 assists, Simms 2 goals, Sheaf played well.

Collins had a shocker for their goal!

Ref absolutely ruined the game.

Thought COH looked off the pace today I can see why Palmer is keeping him out at the moment. Simms took his goals really well and Wright hit nicely with his left foot after a few sighters. Collins will see that in his nightmares tonight, he owes Wright a pint!

Collins 6 (far too casual, even before he gave them a goal. Partly redeemed himself with some decent saves)
Latibeudiere 7
Thomas 7
Kitching 7
Bidwell 7
Eccles 7
Sheaf 7.5
Palmer 8
Van Ewijk 8
Simms 8 motm
Wright 6 (looked knackered after an hour but fair play, another last minute finish)

O'Hare 5 (doesn't want to tackle)
Godden 5
Torp 5 (looked severely off the pace)
Kelly na

Ref was abysmal
Robins should have made changes earlier, however the subs really didn't make an impact

The Huddersfield commentators suggested Bidwell was a good candidate for our motm.

And they’re not wrong. Superb defender. Still yet to see a left back in this league I’d take over him. Need him next year.

Simms first goal couldn’t have been more top bins, quite frankly. The strike of a player full of confidence.

On the highlights, I’m sure I saw Collins get a hand on Rudoni’s shot that hit the crossbar.

I thought Wright played well and Palmer had a big part in both Simms goals Thomas and Bidwell were decent too.

Oddly the Huddersfield fans don't seem to rate Rudoni looks a decent option to me great work rate.

Never stopped, tricky player, good set pieces, tall.

Argue one weakness is he's not rapid but I'd happily have him in our squad

Tried to make things happen in a shit team. Nothing in front of him. Put him in our attacking lineup and he’d be 10x the player.

The hudds commentators were really quite disparaging of him at the start of the game.
Might be super inconsistent ?

Apart from the howler I thought Collins played well. The thing with keepers that play out is it can happen sometimes. Even the elite keepers such as Allison and Ederson have done it a few times

A lot of their fans don’t rate him. He looks skilful but maybe he’s all fart and no poo. I’ve not seen enough of him though to judge

My reaction is not to your opinion, but more for that brilliant analogy of being ‘all fart and no poo’. I’ve never heard that one!!

Agreed. Made some good stops. Just got complacent in that moment. He’ll learn.

Sadly Callum’s head is in the prem. He could spend next season like Gus, watching us on t.v. thinking “that could have been me”

More likely that they feel there should be more end product? But sometimes that might be down to the players around him?

I don’t think COH doesn’t want to tackle, it’s just never been part of his game. He does look like he lacks any pace at the moment. Never been quick over a distance but always had a quick burst in him … not at the minute

It's a shame, I think he still needs another season but it's his call at the end of the day.

He actually has another season left - Robins is very stubborn but is going to have to accept he made a big error of judgement in Dasilva

Largely agree with these.
First half was a pleasure, 2nd comfortable until Collins abomination…
All subs looked well off it.
Overall, a great 3 points.

or he'll improve Da Silva like he has with Bidwell, who is much better this season. If MR and AV can get Bidwell, Godden, Fadz, et al. to improve later in their careers, they can knock JDS into shape.

And Palmer, looks a much better all round player than when he joined.
