Ha ha, B went as well, proper bandwagon jumping turnout.

For many fans, like Snoz off here, it was their first time at the Ricoh.

Murphy 7 - Nice to see him looking to retain possession, by starting play from the back, rather than hoofing the ball up field. Could of done a little better with the goal he conceded, palmed straight into their path. Made a good save in first half from distance and obviously the penalty save.

Christie 6 - Looked light weight at times, eager to get forward, but caught often. A better team would have took advantage of them opportunities.
Wood 7 - A good performance, didn't do much wrong all night. Should have made more of the 2 identical free headers he had in first half.
Edjenguele 7 No nonsense performance, whenever the ball was in a danger area, always looking to get rid. The sort of thing we missed in our defense last year. Communication with Wood seems to be improving.
Adams 7 - Looks a good prospect, always looking to get forward. Wasn't used as much in the first half.

Baker 7 - A decent performance, not the best. Turned their defender nice by the corner flag in second half. Needs to work on his shooting more.
Bailey 7 - Looked comfortable. Distributes play dangerously.
Jennings 6 - Poor first half, slight improvement second. Nice run for the goal, however I felt the cross wasnt the best and involved olot of luck for the goal.
Moussa 7 - Good performance, seemed to be more effective once Sheffers had gone up front.

McSheffrey 6 - Ran around and closed down, it didnt always pay off. Wasted a chance to lay of a ball into the box late in the second half, and opted for a poor shot. Past his prime and should no longer be seen as a key player.
McGoldrick 7 - Looked dangerous with the ball around him, his control was good, although his first touch was alittle off early into the game. Closely marked and struggled to have opportunities.

Overall an encouraging performance from Coventry. Concerning that I dont remember a shot on target in the first half, although the second half was an improvement up until 80 minutes. Looked comfortable in defense, our full backs just need to ensure they dont get caught out of possession often when advanced. Still need to find the right mix in midfield, and alittle worried that we didnt use the opportunity to try a different striker, with MCG going soon.
