Player ratings for the season (1 Viewer)

So, imagine compiling the match ratings, but instead, marks out of 10 for each player and the manager over the course of the entire season.

Obviously if a player has played only 3 or 4 games for us, an average rating based on those 3 or 4 games.

Can't argue with any of those.

Worth giving Nazin a rating as he's played more than barrat/Reid and JMD.

Like him or not he was very influential before Mcnulty came to the fore.

Yes played plenty of games I was slightly harsh on him gave him 6.5, had to score him down for being wasteful and too selfish at times, despite the match winning goals he brought and that wonderful second half at Lincoln after his bizarre half time warm up and cuppa tea. He gave us a good spell single handedly. However performances against Morecambe and Carlisle brought his time here to a disappointing end

So much more he could of gave us tho a great talent if he puts his game together and played a team game.

I suppose how you’d rate him is to what you expect if you was the manager.

Much improved season but still has his clangers. Could have been automatic without his mistakes.

No idea why we bought him in, same as Burge but older.

Not the most technically gifted but a real grafter, never gives up and helps push us on at times - only 24 too.

We've looked weak whenever he's played

Started the season a rock but has been well off the boil lately
Willis 8
Ability wise he's well above this level
Hyam 7
4th choice probably not expecting to play much has done well when called on
Davies 8
Took his time to break into the team but is an absolute beast at the back, old school no nonsense defender

Stokes 6
Last a yard of already barely there pace, we concede less when he's on the pitch though
Haynes 5
Gets back into the team, skins 3 men and gets an assist, we finally think he might have progressed then he spends 5 games out of position and not tackling leading to stokes being recalled. Should have pushed on by now.

DeKE 5
As his twin but in a slightly less perilous part of the pitch
Vincenti 4
Started ok and provided a good outlet for Jones but has got worse as the season has gone on, looks slow and injured
Bayliss 8.5
The way he runs at defenders and starts attacks is a joy, will have a good career. Can be bullied but he is yet to bulk out.
Kelly 7.5
Can be our best midfilder at times and can be our most frustrating when he plays endless sideways passes, when he plays well so does the team
Doyle 8.5
His passing hasn't improved but it's like having a general and an assistant ref on the pitch, we've missed a presence like his for a long time.
Reid 5
Unsettled the apple cart at the start of the season and he hasn't performed particularly well since returning
Shipley 7
Feel sorry for him because any other year he'd have won young player of the season, god knows where we'd be without him on the left
Barrett 3 (or a big fat 0)
Comes on with 10-15 left, waddles about, doesn't put his body on the line, waste of a loan. I doubt he'll make it in men's football with those attributes

Blistering start to the season but was visibly tiring before the injury, we still miss him massively though

Was just regaining match fitness and starting to look the part, massive shame.

Finally looks like a professional footballer, took his time to adapt (understatement) but now looks like the player we hoped he'd be at the start of the season

Goal machine

Needs a pre-season to get to the level he can play at. Changed the tone when he came in but lately spent too much time rolling on the floor
Ponticelli 6
A couple of good goals and looks like will be involved a lot more next season
Beavon 3
Waste of a contract, poor at the start of the season then injured
Nazon 7
A little bit of sparkle to score goals when we were not creative, sometimes held up play by not looking at his options

Robins 7
Got us to our first top 6 finish, stopped the rot and seems to have got recruitment right. Frustrating at times when we've been overly cautious but an above average season
