Footballing reasons ?

What reason other than wages could we have had to get rid of him, he consistently played out of his skin, gave his all when he played and did and still does (if anyone's still friends with him on Facebook know) loves the club with a passion, he puts as many status' wishing us well and saying he's coming to our games etc. as he does MK Dons.

Poorest peice of business this season for me, Baker was a game changer, looking at the players we've got now I wonder how differently this season would have gone if we still had the likes of Baker, Murphy and Moussa

it was never about footballing reasons, it was to save money.. end of.

anyone with half of a footballing brain could see that he was one of the best players here AND he was totally dedicated to the club/cause. but he was also one of the best paid, and so out he went, to save SISU money.

We had to pay him off. So we had to pay to get rid of one of our best players. False economy if you ask me.
