Having read this i just thought i'd check out the sums .
Had a look at Brentfords figures for 2012 ,published 2013.
Now I'm struggling to understand where he gets the notion their player budget is 4-5 times ours . £8-£10M.
From what i see In their books their losses are just over £5M. and their player football side budget is between £4.5-£5M. Their turnover is somewhere around £5M. also.
If we take out the peripheral players and coaching expenditure and the 60% rule supports this they'd have a wage bill of circa £3.5M.
Not forgetting our RICOH turnover was £6.6M. our player budget should have equated to £4M. this season ,however we know why It Is £2M.
So I will give him around 1.5 -1.75 better than ours ,but lets not pretend we don't know why.
