As much as i wish we could do it, i think it will be a bridge too far for us?

Can we see any players coming in that will make the difference?

Or have sisu said thats your lot?

6 points off, so it's do-able.

But its games like today where we will fall down, 2 points lost today, despite the line up

6 off with 63 points left to play for. Of course we still have a chance.

Is this a joke thread? When you can't keep a clean sheet you have no chance. I'm annoyed. Pathetic defending and inexperienced management. I love pressley I'm not changing my view but happens too often to be a blip

If we'd have won today, yes IF, this thread wouldn't exist.

Got half a season (or there abouts) to go yet.

Once we bring in our striker target, and give the current defenders a kick up the arse, we should be fine

Yeah, bit of investment and with Wilson coming back in a couple of months, then we'll be flying.

Looks too much of an ask to me.
Need to average over 2 pts a game to make the play offs. That's title winning form.

Pressley sounds very angry with an individual who switched off for Crawleys 1st goal. I think CWR mentioned before it may have been Blair Adams

Yep agree, it's usually around 74/75 points for 6th place that's 41-42 points from 21 games.

yet there would be one saying "only 4 points off play offs"

We are 2 points away from a thread that would have been on fire with "we can do this" had we held on.

Feels like a defeat today, but there is still a lot to play for. Time will tell, but in seasons gone by, not having a recognised striker on the pitch, there wouldnt have been a hope in hell of scoring twice. Lets face it, normally with 2 strikers on the pitch we would have struggled to score twice.

Watching this team is like being on a rollercoaster, but its a country mile better than under Boothroyd, Coleman etc etc

We'll probably beat preston next week and everything will be fine and dandy again

Lets hope so.

TBH, I would have taken a draw today and a win at preston, rather than the other way round, so we are already half the way there

If you could take into account the -10 points we would already be in a playoff position.... I think we've had a real good first half of a fucked up season and if we continue we can make the play offs at least.
also, our traditional Christmas holidays slump hasn't happened(pusb) even though our squad is clearly thin in some areas !!!

We should forget about the playoffs, if we get into the top 6 at some point start talking about them but while we're chasing then forget it.

Bit worried that having released a couple of players Waggott is now sounding like we're not going to be bringing many in. With a very small squad and others around us no doubt strengthening that could by our biggest problem? Since the 1 in 1 out started how many more players have left than come in? When starting with a small squad it makes no sense to make it even smaller.

The big plus is I can only see usbgettig better as season goes on under so

It will be touch and go though. Only 5th and 6th up for grabs it looks like

It's even less likely now that Clarkes handed in a transfer request.

No chance whatsoever if Leon goes ... Callum out, Jordan Clarke up front (Please) ... thank God we won't get relegated this year ... be thankful for small mercies.

Relegation is still possible too, it requires a serious falling apart but if Leon goes, others may follow, Pressley might get pissed off, heads will drop, the pitch deteriates in the bad weather, we take more injuries to a tiny squad and suddunly we are losing most our games.

Fortunately it shouldn't happen but it seems almost as likely as the playoffs to me, despite us being much closer to the playoffs, it could be a painful transfer window. If it isn't then yeah we should be safe for mid table imo.

Is it official about Clarke's transfer request? That would explain the groin strain then!

We won't sign five. Two at most maybe 3 with loans. SISU just haven't got the finances. We can afford to lose Christie but no one else. The 2-3 coming in need to hit the ground running, we need to avoid injuries to key players then we may just have a chance.

But a few more matches where we just collapse and forget it.
