I’m in a similar predicament…my boy’s birthday on the 13th (albeit I could sneak it with a 5:30ko), finish 6th and it’s a midday ko on the 14th… his party starts at 10:30 . Would I be the world’s worst father leaving that at 11:30?!

I work at Wembley taking the giant flags around the ground just before kick off and have already committed to doing all the play off finals. I'm having second thoughts now and can't decide if I want to watch it from the stands or take the City flag around the pitch and watch the game from the production centre in the main stand . Obviously no drinking if I work but I will be on the pitch at the same time as the players before and after the game if we get there.
Also trying not to count chickens, but 5th would be absolutely ideal.
Family wedding on Saturday 13th so that’s a no go. Midday the following day is going to be a stretch; it’ll be a very early start and I doubt I’ll be feeling particularly fresh but much more achievable!
