It was an awful game.

Regardless of the CCFC link, its not one i'd be in a hurry to watch again.

Won’t be revisiting that, ever. My anxiety levels reached crisis point.

Felt like running through a wall at one point.

Thomas and Kitching on now for Barnsley play off final.

Collins on the bench…where he should be this year.

If the link works, Wolves v Cov Q final highlights, instead.
That'll cheer some of you up !

McFadzean and Kelly cost us that final (obviously other than the penalty miss)

Both at fault for Luton’s goal

A sofa off the pitch would be better.

Hardly. Hamer's injury was the critical moment.

I mean, I’ve watched this and the semi-final highlights, up until just after Torps goal, probably a lot more than I should have.

Yeah, we were growing into the game. I’m convinced if he’d stayed in we win that 2-1

He’d also have buried his penalty if it still got to that.

why?

They were both at fault for the goal, that bit is not up for debate, surely?

So how is Hamer going off with 15 or so to go the ‘critical moment’? It wasn’t great, but we’d already given a goal away by that point and if we hadn’t we would’ve won 1-0

Because that first half we were set up all wrong and should have been much further than a goal down. Blaming McF and Kelly is bizarre

We were second best unfortunately. Bullied and under strength.

To be honest just before extra time a great chance fell to Godden. Not and easy chance, but the sort of chance often puts in the top corner. It fell to the right player on our side. He put it just wide of the top corner.

That is football. Games are littered with mistakes, opportunities missed and taken.
Sometimes you have to stop gazing at your navel, stop raking over the ashes and move on. The result was the result and no amount of analysis will change it.

The Godden chance was about 5 minutes after we equalised wasn't it, or was I drunker than I originally thought? We were definitely in the ascendency, you could feel it in the stadium. Gus' injury completely killed it.

If I remember right he made a tremendous leap for a headed challenge but I can't remember him landing badly?
