Park Run, breakie, pick up a couple of mates and head to the Devon for 12, few in there, up to the Wheatsheaf for a few more, go the ground for another couple, wander up to our seats about 10 past 3, go back down about half 3, few more, go up about 4ish, see that we're losing and piss off down the boozer to get back on it.

That's the plan so far.

Set out from Derby at 11.30 with 8yr son. First home game since gillingham. Spend fortune in shop. Listen to 2000 Wigan fans go ape. Give son tablet to play mine craft for 80 mins. Long drive home wishing never got 6 match pack.

Out of all that, the ten past three is the thing you pull me up on?

Because at about 2:55 it will be pointed out that it is someone else's round who will have to get them in and then we'll quickly smash them and then stumble up to our seats.

I am however, new season and all, prepared till give it till 4:10 till we fuck off back down the boozer.

Wife told me I can have car for the match ( to prevent alcohol intake - sneaky, these women).

Probably over early to Ricoh, as I have bought match package, which I haven't 'swapped' for ticket as only got back from Italy last night. Trying to sort out with mate how to exchange them without having to get caught in a City style queue debacle (where it takes an hour to process a hundred people). Sure it'll be alright on the night, but uncomfortable about watching the first game stone cold sober. Hopefully my analysis of who played well/badly will be less prejudiced than the usual lager biased opinion. Peroni going in the freezer as we speak to take edge off pre-match tension!

Did you bring much Peroni back? I managed just over 100 900cl bottles that cost me 99c. I love the stuff but can't bring myself to pay what they charge over here for it. The problem I had was the wife was giving it away. When I had her about it she said she thought I wouldn't mind as it was cheap. After having a go at her she said she would replace it not thinking it would cost so much. And I suppose I would have paid as well

She got the message when I started giving her wine away we brought back

Setting off in about hours time should be in Cov about 12:00. Check in at the Hotel and then a walk to the ground stopping for a few on the way.
