Not really like me after a football match and have been trying to figure out how to take the stick out my anus. I'm pretty sure it's because you can see patches of great link up play like last year but they are fleeting and I'm impatient to see what that will bring. I have always been worried about a rebuild setting us back and us becoming the nearly men for another year. I'm sure everything will work out but can we get there now please! I want to shake some of our new signings and tell them they have the ability, to get out of their heads and show it on the pitch. I know this is just the team gelling.

It’s frustrating isn’t it? The strikers need to show up. There are other teams like us of course. We could be Middlesbrough fans. Sims, Haji etc should come good. The fans have backed the club this season. it’s important for the club to keep talking to the fans.

My only concern is the 3 strikers. Godden has been just as bad as Wright & Simms but has at least bagged a couple of goals.

Goddens clever and experienced, hopefully the others learn from him as he makes great runs into doaces but doesn't have the pace to get on the ball. If he had that explosive 10 yards he'd be a premier league player.

The backs and wing backs look good. The midfield looks good in patches. But the strikers are feeding off nothing, we just aren't playing them in.

The midfield are having to learn to play as a 3 rather than a 4. Teiearly t he gap between the defence, deep mids and attack is telling. We are running out of steam as the game progresses.

The energy of OHare and Allen as options could make a difference?

I still feel it is early days for this squad.

We had 60 shots in our first 3 games.

It's just upfront where we are struggling imo,
We can't seem to get the ball to stick, and therefore the ball keeps coming back, and we can't get a period of pressure going.

We look solid at the back, but Simms, Wright and Gidden need loads of work.

I’m up in Northumberland and having the piss taken out of us by Makems has really pissed me off . Her indoors has pulled me out of the pub before I lose it .
FFS we need to start hitting the back of the net or all this investment will look pretty shit and a waste of money . I fucking hate Scumberland fans utter wankers

The tactics from Robin's plain and Simple when we have been ahead have been shocking.

Tactically cannot fault his starting X1 but the use of substitutions are horrendous.

When it was clear to 99.9% of fans a goal is coming. A change of system is needed.

Fucking putvon Jamie Allen and or/Saka or Palmer and take Godden off!

But only 11 were on target and we scored 4 goals. I don't know how many of the shots were by strikers? Do you?

I still don't think we have created much for strikers (apart from Leicester away first game).

The strikers have to make the runs and find space before we give the ball to them from other areas. Otherwise they just lose it as has happened to often. I wouldn’t keep lumping Godden in with Wright and Simms either, he’s scored and created,?whereas they have looked fairly toothless and clumsy.

You were making a point about the strikers not getting the service not if the shots were on target.

It never worked last season playing two up top and it appears the same issue this season. The common factor here is Godden. With injuries now for the next few games in midfield we have no choice but to continue with two up top but I’d like to see Wright & Simms given a chance together. Yes Godden has scored a few but he has missed so many other chances.

Depending on how ready Kelly is for another 90 mins v Cardiff, can Lati move into his position, as we have plenty of defensive replacements for him - Thomas, etc

It is frustrating but there’s a lot of new faces in that team and it was always gonna take some time, we have to be patient, I honestly think we’ll be fine ‘only 1 defeat is encouraging and even a slight improvement would turn the draws into wins.

If he has done it regularly for Jamaica, it shouldn't be out of the question, especially in the defensive role ?

I wouldn't want to move him from the defence anyway. He's been excellent.

He was asking for big money, so how are we to compete with that? I guess all of the squad would jump ship if they were offered the same. So no, we don’t need him…He destabilized the club.

It's bizarre, Kelly is (when not injured) a very fit player with an excellent engine.
