Don, I like your team but I wouldn't have Frank Williams in my team, I don't even think he has signed for us and I would question his mobility playing behind the striker .
Anyway I thought he had a formula one team to run

Ha ha! I thought yours was a good call, but I was being lazy, attempting to use your format but to put in Willis instead of Phillips and JOB instead of Fleck (though that last one's probably a bit gung-ho). If we had another left-back then Johnson would be out. Team is crying out for a strong centre mid-fielder, as we know.

I'm not sure we know enough a out the new players to pick a team.

Lolling at ccfc4l doing a Pressley, Samuel goal on debut MOTM performance and bombed out in preference for someone who's not scored a league goal since October/11 games/14h 47mins.

I'm sorry, but what about the Scottish connection??? although you're only allowed 5 loaness in the squad, surely we operate a compulsory 6 Scots per team policy. Now please re-submit your sides using this criteria!!!!

It's another reason for falling crowds. when you don't know the players you become disconnected from the club and you care far far less. Hell some of the teams posted in this thread have only 4 of the same starting 11 from the last large crowd at the Ricoh (Gillingham) where already a large percentage of the crowd hardly knew the team since it was changed so dramatically from the season before.

Hopefully these players can stop the rot and we can stay up but there is no building for the future here, some of these teams only have 2 players in them under contract in 6 months time.

Yes and I said in my ratings that Nouble played well. He played deeper and central, which is his strength, he isn't a number 9 and isn't a left winger. Samuel puts in a scoring MOTM display and you replace him in the number 9 with someone who hasn't scored since October/11games/14h47min.

So what views do I have that will hopefully one day no longer be in football?

People saying reda left back pmsl, hes deffo deffo not a left back, if your an opposition manager you put your quickest winger his side to rip him a new arsehole all game.

Jones
Willis ( Pennington going back it seems)
Martin
Reda
Haynes - Better with no webster bringing him down all game.

Sitting - Fleck and Obrien

Attacking - Odelusi Williams Samuel

Up top - Nouble.

However, we can be very flexible with our play now with the players brought in.

Sheffield Wednesday thought Reda was a left back.

we have pace on the wings , i would like to keep noubles strength and trickery, did put samuels down as a swap for nouble too btw

your LOLing at the comment was rude and probably more out of your "views" than at me so i dont take too much offence.

Seems a few think he's the best left back they'd had.

My lolling at you was just meant as friendly banter. You accusing me of racism isn't.

Nouble is at his best when he drops turns and runs at players, he's only ever looked good with a partner who runs in behind (like jackson or Samuel) as that pushes the back 4 deeper creating more space for him. He also doesn't have any desire to get in the box, that's not his game, so you need a striker that is going to get in the box. I wouldn't play him as a number 9 purely for football long reasons, I've never seen williams play but it would be a toss up between Nouble / williams in that deeper role, with Samuel leading the line, pushing the back 4 back and creating more space for our midfield.

Wednesday fans say reda was the best left back they had due them adoring him for his no nonsense approach and being a fans fav alot still have a soft spot for him.

In terms of Haynes, I too believe he is not up to it defensively and will no doubt turn into a winger when older, and has developed however, I would have reda at CB offering advice rather than websters utter shit at CB screaming at the young kid when in fact its webster who has lost the man in the middle majority of the time.

We have conceded far too many from crosses, so why play your best headerer of the ball out on the left.

Johnson looked ok in a 3 at the back, but has looked a liability when he's played in a two.
