I never really tune in but at my desk thought I'd get it on. So far one call in 20 minutes?
At that rate we might half a dozen calls in the hour!

...I suspect there is no one calling in? How embarrassing is this?

Local coaches, journo's ex players etc.

Phone-ins went stale as soon as they just turned into a rant-a-thon anyway. They work when they're like Danny Baker did them, with themes and anecdotes... and a host who can fill time if no bugger has an anecdote to tell him!

But really, can't remember the last time I intentionally listened to a phone-in.

(A caller to Rob Gurney asking him why every time he heard his voice, he had to have a wank was a classic, however!)

i remember the guy on BRMB radio many years back who was blunt, had loads of calls from the regions teams (Brum, Villa, W Brom, City etc) and he kept it going great and told a caller what he thought of them if he suspected they were talking rubbish and cut them off! Highly entertaining at the time. Can anyone remember the guy?

Loads more people call when we're losing, or if Tim says something daft (redundancy alert), or we're in court etc. Maybe fewer callers is a good thing.

Apparently there's a programme on the telly at 7 about the demise of Coventry City according to a caller. Anyone tell me which channel?

Well that they've invested £70M so of course why would they sell at the bottom
Eventually they'll strike lucky, manager, players wise and up the leagues we'll go. :'(

Well that they've invested £70M Truly can't believe anyone buys that crap . the best they've done , if they have is , keep the club ticking over from selling our assets from the day they took over. I'm sure that would be about the 70m mark . so effectively , self sufficient from day one.

Sky channel 117 new channel i had never seen before 'Made in Bham' and it's the 'Goalzone' with Tom Ross & Ian Taylor talking Midlands football.
Tom Ross is sat a desk getting freaked out as the set keeps creaking and Ian Taylor is sat uncomfortably on a sofa that looks like it's been picked out of a garden in Hillfields.
