Phone-ins went stale as soon as they just turned into a rant-a-thon anyway. They work when they're like Danny Baker did them, with themes and anecdotes... and a host who can fill time if no bugger has an anecdote to tell him!Time to change the format and go for a panel like ruck and maul

Tony boing boing Butleri remember the guy on BRMB radio many years back who was blunt, had loads of calls from the regions teams (Brum, Villa, W Brom, City etc) and he kept it going great and told a caller what he thought of them if he suspected they were talking rubbish and cut them off! Highly entertaining at the time. Can anyone remember the guy?
