6pm. Football related shows are not normally broadcast on the internet thought due to commercial issues.

I believe you can get the phone in though since there's no contractual clashes and no sport is actually being played.
Don't normally listen myself but family do and have done over the internet.

Wonder how many people are going to be cut off for swearing tonight.

I think it's only the live match feeds that CWR can't broadcast - should be able to get the 'phone in tonight on t'interweb. Clive and Geoff are going to have to be very professional in the way they handle things tonight!

If anyone listening tonight can write a summary of events on the CWR phone in I'm sure those who can not listen in will appreciate it.

Brody spoke
Basically said he wants to continue to be open with the fans and that is an education process of learning what a verbal agreement. Brody basically blamed the agent for mucking this deal. He rubbished the claim that King had not received this document as this was not part of the agreement. Also he said King didn't act logically if he believed that the documents were not received/lost the first thing you do is find out where these documents are not enter negotiations with another club.
He said by being open with the fans this has allowed the fans to go through all the emotions the board has had in this.
He said there has been no formal bid for the club but maybe interest. The club is not for sale and they are still seeking investment.
If people who bought season tickets or shirts on the presumption King was staying they will refund this if they wish, he rubbished claims it was done to sell season tickets/shirts and said if it was, it wasn't a very good one as the shirts/tickets sold in this time were minimal.

Oh and we should put our faith in Andy Thorn and him and Ken are looking for replacements of a similar stature to King

I've been anti-Brody until late but liked the cut of his jib tonight. I can see where he and Clouting are coming from on all of this.

Not too sure about the phrase "Franchise Player" (ie "we will be looking to sign another Franchise Player to replace Marlon".) I follow American sports so I know what he means and I guess he doesn't realise that the phrase isn't used here so it isn't really his fault-but it just creates the image of him not understanding football. His other comments about King thriving under AT's style and the team being bigger than King show that his footy knowledge is growing at least.

The other thing raised by Brody was the notion that King didn't really want to be here-if he did, he'd of signed. And do we want a guy who isn't committed? He'd have just been eyeing that January move. TBH you entirely got the impression that the club now think they were used and King never intended to stay. What a Judas.

Listened to Brody on radio whilst driving home. Have to say he talked a lot of sense

As things have turned out we had a lucky escape because MK could have been "the franchise player" ....... other than his goals I cant think of any qualities he has shown for us to build the team and marketing around

I think he may be suggesting a 'loan' player? For example Miller is on a good deal at WBA but not in their immediate plans and will most likely be loaned out again. he has to be a top contender.
Then I could see us offering KP a 1 year deal to play along side him when the Juke is not doing it.
Have to say though I think the Juke will do well this season.

We also need a good midfielder who can add the bite we need with good tackle and distribution chipping in with a goal or two. Andy Reid comes immediately to mind.

God Not Andy Reid, he's done nothing of note for the last 2 years, How about an up and comiong youngster like Thomas Ince from Liverpool. He wants first team football wont be on a huge wage

Ok but....here's a thought......this has been mentioned on GMK and ignored already by others. Did King sign ANYTHING even a napkin prior to his medical at Birmingham? I don't really cre anymore and we should all just move on but this is one for the road....

the club are in a mess and should have done all they can, relying on somebody's word these days especially King is just plain stupid.
