...at the end of the day Clive if it weren't for sisu we'd not only be premier league champions but we'd also have put the first footballer on Mars...

Mowbray

Great for Harries, Kelly Evans, Thomas
All in all a decent day
Armstrong been patient
Pitch bobbly
Team was patient, took their legs
Nice that Armstrong got 20 for the whole club as well as armstrong
Everybody delighted he got it
Lads were desperate for him to get the goal
Harries knew he was playing an hour before kick off
Martin had a knock in training, felt a bit dizzy
Bigiramana had his best game today
Gadzev is exciting to watch, technical ability
Murphy has been like a man possessed in training this week
Disapointed not to get Jones on
Andy Rose was injured
Disappointed with 8th
Improvement on last day to stay up
Next year 8th is the bare minimum
Fans fantastic today
Apology to the fans, got up to 18000 over christmas
Stick with us, trying to build the club to what it should be
All stick together, get there in the end

The one in bold is the key one there.

Fact is, if we had had just a bad run instead of a dreadful one we would have been sitting in the top 6 this afternoon.

Has to be top 6 next season. That has to be the aim and anything less is failure.

I think he said 1.5, but SBP was playing up.

I think Mowbray is hinting at exactly that. I think he is as disappointed as the fans knowing a couple of results and it could have been different. Hence the apology to the fans.

But you still have to look at how far we have come and he is right to say 8th is the bare minimum as he expects us to progress.

He's always said it is a 2 year plan; he wasn't wrong.

Let hope he's right next year!

Another pie in the sky dreamer!! Where does he think we will get £1.5 million from?

A dose of realism would be brilliant as we approach the summer buying/selling/loaning session. Hopefully TM has started to get some of the out-of-contract players on board (especially Fleck), and 4 wins of out 5 to end the season will leave us with a better chance of persuading those we need to keep to stay.

Agreed, and he's also worth a lot more than £1.5m.....

In retrospect, how gutting are the Colchester and Donny defeats now. If only?

As we have a top 8-6 budget Ive heard somewhere once or twice this year suppose TM has achieved the minimum!
It is progress but lets see how many we lose and who we replace them with.

I think the teams coming down from championship will not be that strong though Bolton may have a few quid.
Teams coming up will be more dangerous in my opinion, Oxford, Northampton & Bristol Rovers could all feature.

I'm with Otis though anything less than play offs next year has to be regarded as failure/no progress.
Good end to the season let's hope we can start well again next year! PUSB

The end of the season proves we can win games when it does not matter. The question is, can we win games when it matters?
