Phoenix club / Wasps AFC? (1 Viewer)

Just wondered if any disenchanted Wasps fans had formed a new club, you know, like AFC Wimbledon, Coventry United, FC United?

It's a hell of a distance to move up here and I can't say I have heard too much in the way of any new club or campaign to start one.

Anything happened at all?

Just had a quick Google and can't see anything, so am assuming the answer is no.

There is an amateur club that still play in London called Wasps FC who were formed in 1867 and are the original Wasps, when rugby went professional in the 90s the mens first team split from Wasps FC to become Wasps RFC/London Wasps.

So there is still a team to support for them, just not a very good one. They play in the 8th level of the league structure.

Someone on here mentioned it the other day.

They are the Amateur side of Wasps. The ground is used by Wasps to train ..... at the moment.
