Knowing the guy to be a piss taking bullshitter I felt particularly insulted that he’d try it on me. Never liked him before, but certainly disliked hime thereafter. He died a couple of years later.
Anyway, I was browsing through historical planning applications (Looking for a friend), and to my total disbelief I found an application for a motor museum in the exact location.
