good to save some money but with pboro coming up he might have been worth keeping

saying that it seems pretty likely we will have a new defender in soon

Useless waste of space. A signing we should never have made.

The biggest emergency was that he was in the squad, taking up a wage. Bye bye Peter.

I clicked this hoping that it was going to say he's gone but I didn't think we'd be that lucky. With this and the blackpool handball actually being called maybe our luck is changing

Question: Who signed Ramage ? Mowbray or Anderson

We signed Rammage as an emergency/panic our situation was pretty desperate at the time. With players like that you often don't know what you are getting until you get them through the door and give them as chance. But a wage has been freed up now which is good even if no one else comes in.

Exactly!

Ramage was a last resort and stop gap signing. We were desperate for cover and he was available.

It was always only going to be short term.

In a couple of weeks they will look at their house and it will feel like they have been cruelly burgled, had their fridge emptied of beer and had their sofa cushions all pee'd over.

As they reflect, they will look at the lounge wall and see two painted smiley's, one blowing a raspberry and the other winking gleefully.

“It does leave us a little bit thin at the back, of course, but I wouldn’t put our club in jeopardy.”

TM on Ramage, fair to say he won't be getting a new contract from him in the summer!?

Rather harsh. We were desperate for cover and he was available. It was always only going to be a short term measure.

Sounds very like it was Ramage or no-one.

In fairness though I think he knew it wasnt a great signing at the time but it was a centre back and thats what we needed.

I think he described him as a player who probably wont be passing it out much but if he can concentrate on heading it away or kicking it away when it comes near him he'll do alright.

Turns out he was pretty shit at that too

It's funny how many times I hear that! Must be at least 3 times a season I reckon for the last 4-5 years!

Well yeah, but even if he wasn't the worst he was certainly in the top 1.
