Slightly annoying game show on BBC1 this afternoon.

Sometimes though contestants do make you laugh.

Question: Harold McMillan was a member of the Conservative party, true or false?

Contestant: That's false. He was a Tory.

Question: Tennessee Williams wrote 'Death of a Salesman, true or false?

Contestant: Believe it or not I do have some of his records, but I've never heard of that one, so false.

He then followed that up with a soap question. A subject he said he was an expert on and especially on Eastenders, which was his favourite.

Next question was whether Arthur was Ian Beale's father and he said he was. Now I don't watch soaps at all but even I know that wasn't true!

You should check out some of the idiotic answers given on Pointless. The Weakest Link was always good for stupidity as well.
