Solid & settled very well, pleased to have him onboard well at least for another 6 weeks!

Good job you didn't see him at Donny.

Heard he had a mare, there (let's hope that hasn't affected him)!

"We've been really impressed by Matty's performances since he has joined up with us," Pressley said.

Too many mistakes for my liking, caught out too many times with deep crosses with player coming in behind him. Will be a good player given time but we can't afford to wait, if we are going to bring in a RB then we need somebody to hit the ground running.

I presume it's cover for Phillips until he recovers, for what it's worth I think Phillips is a much better player.

I'm wondering if RFC actually goes to games, his performance at Donny by a person whose been going for over fifty years was described as singularly the worst performance by a Cov player he's seen in half a century.
others there at Donny were very much the same.

im feeling he doesn't go to the games he says he does

Don't mind him staying, wouldn't have been upset if he was sent back. If he is a CB by trade though I wouldn't kind seeing him play there, probably in place of Webster, when we have another RB available. See how he gets on.

Ripped a new arsehole at Doncaster boxing day was dreadful and at fault for both, Forrester ripped him whenever he felt like it, I think he is very raw and has alot to learn.

RFC, is Pennington in the Manager's thoughts for a full transfer?

Not pleased with this. As mentioned above, his performance against Donny was an awful one. Not rated him bar his first game.

Exactly - it only took him one game to start playing "the Coventry way".

To be honest I am not a fan, and I agree that he was awful at Doncaster, but then again who wasnt?

He cannot cross a ball which I think is a key attribute for a Full back in the modern game and even more so when you are playing with a striker like Gary Madine. especially when you have 4 centre mids and no wingers we need our full backs to be the ones making runs out wide and putting the crosses in.

just watched the Donny highlights and I don't see how Pennington got the blame for the first. So far as I could see it was more Martin.
He's part of the problem for the second, but so are 2 or 3 others.
I know he didn't have a good game (and I was there), but it appears to me not as bad as has been made out.
