I heard Clive Eakin say we missed the last 3 penalties of last season and now of course, we have only scored 1 in 5 this season.


That is shocking. 1 in 5?

Lack of backbone and and mental strength? Or just down to lack of confidence?

Penalty taker

Ronnie Farmer was by far the best penalty taker I have seen, and he was a midfielder. Next season Maddison will be our 'ace' penalty taker.

all the great penalty takers have missed a penalty, but they just don't go and give up after that miss. So why do we keep changing our penalty taker?

Leaving it to a 'toss a coin at the time of getting a pen' policy can't have helped. Think that was another example of poor management by SP not having an allocated penalty taker

I suppose you could say that the term 'striker' is being a tad generous to anyone but Domini Samuel this season (well ok, we can stretch that to Tudgay now but only because he scored yesterday )

I was astonished when he said this. 'We don't have a designated penalty taker. It's down to whoever feels most confident on the day'. Will never forget that phrase. A clear indication that he should've gone long, long ago.
