We don't have money or at least access to any for anything unless we have a whip round and do a bit of a cash deal.

Nope, can't even use the compensation for robins....that's going straight to ACL.

That's a little harsh...played 1 won 1. Can assume his record will worsen, but for now let's just give him the chance. If the rent gets sorted by the season's end & we get automatic promotion...would you still say the same? He might prove to be our own Fergie!

Tbf he's pretty much ruled himself out sayin he doesn't feel ready for it.

And didn't we say similar things after we beat Birmingham 3-2 in the cup in Shaws first game in charge?

If we want to poach a manager would we have to ask ACL "please can we have some of our money"

To poach Mourinho? No.

To poach, say, Johnson @ Yeovil? Possibly

If we win promotion, or even just miss out he will consider himself ready - & he'll be well in the frame!

I don't think he'll be caretaker for that long

With our bank accounts frozen, we have no money to spend, so poaching is out of the question, sadly enough. Still I think coyles the best bet, similar style of football, and a manager I personnally believe is destined for great things, and why not with us!

Grendel can you explain to me exactly what can City do wiith regards to the Debt Order being issued on our accounts? How do we play salaries of the Employees?

Bring Black in to support Carsley.
Oggy stays but as I don't see him as frontline management (Good safe hands behind the scenes)

The problem i have with Carsley is his inexperiance. Was he not Shaws partner in our early season disastrous period between managers.
Also i do not understand how Carsley gets all the credit for Riochs work with the academy.

Carsley for now is fine. I dont want a manger appointed in a rush and it not being the right fit. We have had some poor choices over the past few years. Looking at what we have had.

Robins
Thorn
Coleman
Dowie
Reid
Black
McCallister

etc etc the only two with any credit there are Robins and Black. I dont thionk Black is the way to go either. what i liked about Robins was he was young and entusastuic (ambitious aswell apperently) i would like something similar but the man has to have some experince because otherwise they are learning to much as they go.

Pemberton may well be a good choice but haviong only been in charge of academys i would be worried that working with Pro's may be a big step up.

Pemberton is now 10/1 - Keithe Curle 6/4 favourite, carlsey 5/1, phil brown 7/1.

Not sure how anyone wins anything on manager specials, it all seems very random especially as Waggoner has only just started short listing.

The only way is a lucky guess when the odds are still long. Anyone that says they knew in advance and got good odds is full of shit. They just took a lucky punt.

You wouldn't touch it with a barge poll unless wag was your mate

The earliest ACL can claim against the third-party debt order is on May 2nd; timed after the end of the season. Our last game being 27th April.

Play-offs notwithstanding, of course

I dont think we can read too much into the odds at this point in time. like has been pointed out - who was favourite last time for ages? I dont really remember it being Robins.

They make alot of it up in terms of their odds for next manager - who seems to fit, who's available, did they use to play for the team as that seems to get them special mention, etc.....from the sounds of where the club is in the selection process, how can anyone be considered a favourite?

Definately should be done in the right way and not rushed. We have a squad largely in great form and I dont know how much we need to do to distrupt that, as long as Carsley can continue to steer us in the right direction for the time being.
