Look forward to it but think it's should probably be the last series, otherwise it starts to get stupid imo.

Think they're signed up for another 3 after this.
I think the plan is to take it up the WW2.

Just finished series 4. It's a good show but prob not as good as everyone makes out. Tell you what though, they do baddies well. Luca, the priest in season 3 and Dr grant from jurassic Park were all excellent

Obviously, we all have different opinions. However, your point about the baddies is what makes the show excellent imo.

I particularly like the way Campbell (Sam Neill) is straight laced initially, but gets darker and more corrupt as it goes on.

I think they've done well to get big names involved from the off.

Sam Neill was incredible. Tom Hardy was nuts. I feel aidan gillen has turned into a bit of a comedy actor though. Adrien brody was pretty sinister also. Makes me wanna start walking around with a tooth pick

Not sure how I feel about that episode, thought it was okay, but Arthur's wife and Ada are just annoying.

The ending was pretty good though.

Watched it last night. Put him on a cross and shot him, no messing about there !
The accents make me laugh though can't work them out at times, but still a gripping series.

I feel like Billy is the 'scariest' bad guy so far. Luca was a bit cliche, sabini and kimber were powerful but not scary, the Preist was good.

Series is shaping up nicely. America made Michael an angry man.

The one thing I find slightly odd/amusing, is in S1 they were fighting/discriminating against the Gypsies and Irish. Then by S3 or 4, they're suddenly all Irish Gypsies with Polly having full on fortune telling abilities.

Nah they've been distant gypsies all along. The fighting was with a different clan (Lee's) and the IRA.

That's what I mean, it's gone from a distant heritage, to being a full on Gypsy family.

in real life Sabini was a huge gangster but he was supposed to be very unassuming and a real gentleman.

I tried to get into Peaky blinders but just found it all shite to be honest, unbelievable characters didn't like the story lines and I did watch (half hardheartedly) to season 4 when I couldn't give a crap about it and never watched it since..
Just don't know why I couldn't get into it

Its becoming a parody. Arthur's accent keeps slipping into cockney at times and the level of more graphic violence seems to be what is more important than the actual story. Still , on a positive, at least the great British public are naming their new borns Ada and Arthur rather than names from TOWIE.

As someone who has lived "down saarf" since they were 7, I should have gone for an extra role, with their accents.

I also was starting a new job in Bournemouth when they were casting for Dunkirk in Weymouth and needed 40-44 inch chest extras should have gone for the Dunkirk casting

It's killing me watching one episode at a time. I prefer binging 3 or 4 episodes at once.

not as much as all those dodgy accents!
Can just imagine the production meeting, how can we distract peoples attention from all those rubbish Brummie accents?
Incorporate a character with a rubbish Scottish one!

Now CCFC play right next to the Garrison pub which is the real pub in which it is set.
Sadly derelict now.

I spotted that, looks a bit run down.

Would have thought somebody would make a fortune if they opened that up.
