Went to pick my ticket up yesterday afternoon and there was a steady stream of people coming in for tickets and being told only Pay On The Day available now. Be a decent following tonight. Buzzing about it already. When was the last time we were in contention at this stage of a championship season?!

In 2001 with 4 games to go we were 1 point off Birmingham in 6th and Millwall in 5th having played a game more than Birmingham but same as Millwall.I may be wrong, but have we ever been still in the mix with so much optimism and momentum with 4 to go since 2001? Honestly can’t recall if so.

We didn't win another point that season. I hadn't realised that we were still that close late on in the season as we'd had a terrible run.

From what I remember it wasn't even like we'd had an injury crisis (though clown boy McGinnity selling Carsley was utterly stupid)we managed one point in the last 8 games. That moron McGinnity bought Jim Smith in and we just fell apart
