Not just in his shed but in his head, given the obsession he had with him.

When Strachan was manager of celtic he got sent to the stands, but refused to go unless he could bring telfer with him

I did not say premiership. I checked with soccerbase (http://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=7846), 513 league appearances, 49 FA cup, 32 League Cup, 13 other for Luton, Coventry, Soton, Celtic, Bournemouth, Leeds and that does not include a few seasons non league for Sutton or sub appearances.

Apart from his first season he was alright. More likely to get a goal than John Fleck.
