To be fair. A promotion would help them a lot in the PR war. But would also force their hand on rent costs and staying at Sixfields. I'd say it's 50/50 whether it'd help or hinder them.

Sisu were clever enough to hire a guy after a fan campaign for him, that made it not their decision.
But as every manager Sisu has hired has done worse than the last one (ignoring the bump after relegation which is hard to normalise for), you're probably right.
