Come you ***rag why is the Admin process dragging ! This should have been rapped up months ago. Does nt look like your firm is very efficient from where Im standing. I hope at some point the Ombudsmen catch up with you ! Because you are not behaving in a very good manner in my opinion. If I was Involved in the process you carried out ... Id be after you big style as something stinks .. I hold you responsible as much as Sisue(everybody) for the current situation...:blue:

I for one definitely have my reservations on the administration procedure and now the almost year lost liquidation procedure.

If it helps to the OP I believe OSB said When he last checked on the position of liquidation it was being held up but it was unclear what the hold up was.

Most of us have our reservations about this whole thing and it's clear to me the liquidation is being deliberately stalled til after the JR which starts 10th June. We can all speculate as to why but don't expect the liquidation and payment of £590k to ACL to be sorted before the JR. So at least another month to wait. I wonder why? My best guess is that 590k that Otium owe to ACL will be used against them in some form dependant of the outcome of the JR. Sisu don't want to part with another penny. Especially for nothing. Could Otium use the 590k as a deal to rent so they actually get some thing for it?

Genuine question...

Does the prolonged I dotting & T crossing to complete the liquidation of a now defunct co. have any real effect on us CCFC fans?

It no longer has any bearing on the current squad, manager, or fact that, as a club, we still remained exiled 35 miles away....

So unless you personally are owed money from the process.....I don't get why anyone gives a shit if it drags on all summer? Or am I missing something glaringly obvious....

The only worry is that the payment to ACL which was a condition of issuing the golden share to Otium is still outstanding. Its not really clear why this is being paid by the company being liquidated and not Otium themselves but ML has said in the past the delay in payment was due to the hold up with liquidation. There also isn't clarity as to the deadline for payment from the FL and what punishment we will receive if that isn't met.

If we don't pay that £590k by the end of the month there's a chance the Football League will impose more sanctions, don't know if that would be another points deduction or not but if that is what happened it would almost certainly scupper any promotion bid for another year but then again promotion is another thing our owners don't want.

Tell me if I've missed it, but as far as I'm aware we don't even know who has objected to the CCFC Ltd winding up order, is it CCC/ACL or is it SISU/Otium..

Here's one for you Grendel, when SISU took over CCFC I personally believe we had a half decent team and I hoped at that time with just a little investment, we would habe made playoffs at the very least so why then begin to sell our better players instead?

All though we will never know but surely by investing at that time woud have seen a healthy return for them?

I appreciate this is all if's and buts but the point is why come in and sell as oppesed to buy? Lets face it, looking at the debt now spending another 5 million at that time on players wouldnt have made too much of a difference.

We have no need to worry. SISU released the news on the offal a few days ago that the money would be paid on time.

Coventry City Football Club is aware of all outstanding payment due to ACL and will pay in accordance with Football League deadline

How many other teams would put up with new owners coming in to asset strip?

Nope, they had a strategy, buy young, develop and move fwd. At one point, they were not far off, if we had a decent manager, a team of Fox, Dann, Turner, Best, Gunnar, Westwod etc (all of whom are or have played in prem) should have been there or there abouts. For some reason, which has never been explained, this then changed and we started to sell and not replace.

I'll give one example of deliberately screwing us over, not submitting accounts on time provoking three transfer embargoes on the bounce leaving our manager/managers unable to get in any wish for players even freebies and having to rely on inexperienced kids.

In fairness I believe Fox and Dann wanted to move on to play in the Prem. so selling them at the time was inevitable, what didn't happen though none of the incoming transfer fees over 3 million I believe was reinvested into the team. At the time spending £3millionish on our team would have made us serious promotion contenders I believe

I hate that picture of PA. Its just the typical smarmy business man who would screw over his own kids to get money and get the best deal for him.

On a separate note yes the big deal with this is not paying monies owed on time and facing further sanctions of points deductions and embargoes though sisu seem to like these.

Sammy clingan - £700k, Michael mcindoe £300k, martin cranie £500k, wood (undisclosed- £500k?), baker (undisclosed - £300k?), Hussey (undisclosed - £40k?), Deegan (€90k). Loan fees for van aanholt, jack cork, Madine, Leon Barnett, Richard wood (loaned before he signed), Freddie Sears, John stead....

There's at least £3m in that lot.

It doesn't really. It makes the point that we were crap at scouting decent replacements, which is a different point to what rupert was making that they didn't spend any of that money, which they quite clearly did.

Under Boothroyd was the Last time they bought anyone IIRC, a few freebies and Keogh who reaped a handsome return ,so It can work so long as you replace .

Don't think we got anywhere near £3mullion for Dann and Fox, only made about £250,000 profit on Fox for sure.

Ranson as usual bigged up what we received for them at the time.

Looking at that list of dross we spent money on - Clingan, McIndoe - its no surprise we are where we are. Easy to say now but we should've brought players who value would have been likely to increase - Le Fondre, Gayle etc
