There should be some bargains from the LoI that would fit in in league 2. This guy is an attacking midfielder who can play on the right or in the middle who scored more than 1 in 3 this year. Hopefully this means Robins is looking out for the right sort of player wether him or not.

Nice to see that rumours are starting already.

Why are we only looking to sign players from the League of Ireland?!

That's an absolute disgrace! Next you'll see us signing non-league bilge!

it doesn't matter where they come from if they are good enough then they are good enough, Irish players coming over wasn't a bad move for Reading with Noel Hunt, Kevin Doyle and Stephen Hunt
Don't forget we are a fourth tier team so are not going to attract the best of players.

Bargains to be had, never heard of the lad but no doubt we need some creativity in midfield that can chip in with goals. If Blackburn are truly interested, we are knackered of course.

Ticks a few boxes, and not as if we've not looked over there before. See what develops

Unfortunately a player at his level might look at a move to an English League Two side as a step down.

He will go to a League 1 club. But when was the last time we were involved in a transfer rumour?

It was a month ago when some bloke scored two good goals in the FA cup and his agent was looking to maximise the publicity.
I forget his name.

He's not exactly been a failure. Makes the team better. Goals would be nice but it's not the be all and end all. He'll score at some point though.

I would argue that signing a striker who is still goalless in January is pretty close to being a failure to be honest.

Nah...Biamou is a star who hasn't scored YET! He adds balance and is clearly a team player. I like him and the noise will hit the roof when he scores...we all want him to!!

I think it’s a premature judgement. The adjustment to professional football cannot be underestimated. He’s on one goal, and that’s obvious room for improvement. But, he seems to bring out the best in McNulty and Nazon because they have been at their most productive playing alongside him.

To me, that must be why Robins has persisted with Biamou upfront. Otherwise, before he left, Nazon and McNulty was the logical strike partnership.

How many games have Nazon and McNulty played together? Biamou has played pretty much every game, which is why everyone scores when he is in the team.

To be honest, I think Nazon was in the bomb squad a little bit. I assume for that reason Biamou was playing by default as we have no one else.

Now Nazon has gone back, we have to get a new striker in. Biamou is nowhere near good enough, adjustment period or not.
