Lots of loans happen very late in the transfer window season will be a month old come September 1st wouldn’t be surprised to see him or Waghorn or both go out on loan by then.Well at the moment we can’t persuade anyone to take him on loan never mind pay a fee. The bitterness towards Walker is very strange. He’s generally performed pretty well whenever we’ve called on him. If all it takes to turn on a player is one bad loan spell at Portsmouth, maybe we shouldn’t be using the loan system at all in future.

There isn’t any bitterness from me-I’ve said time and again I like him as a player and that he’s a confidence player who hasn’t got any. But it’s also important to be honest about the year he’s just had.
Dubbing him a flop comes across as bitter to me. I think he can be an asset to us this season.
