after watching the sky blues for over 40yrs mostly in relegation fights my mates and my self are quite looking forward to the new season.the team was just no good last season so it good to see a few go for a decent price and hopefully a few more to come in . Hopefully a good striker! so now were off to inverness (all booked up )

Kinda feel the same way. Don't get me wrong, I was devastated by us being relegated, but we've signed 3 players that should really shine in this league. Of course I'm sad about Cranie and Bigi going but it wasn't unexpected, nor is Keogh. Bigi has lots of potential but £1m for him is good value in his current state - I am more bothered about keeping Thomas who, to me, is what everyone wants Deegan to be - a combatative midfielder who can do the simple stuff well.
I've only been supporting Cov properly since we went to the Ricoh (pure co-incidence) but, in that time this is the first I've seen where I've been excited about the players coming in pre-season.
Ofc we've lost McPake, Eastwood and Clingan too but McPake and Eastwood were shipped out anyway for various reasons and, whilst I'm gutted Clingan's gone for nothing, he was nothing short of a disgrace for us last season and I look forward to seeing who he gets relegated with next.
SISU still need to go IMO but this last week has restored a tiny bit of faith and I feel a lot more confident about next season now, as I genuinely believe more players will be brought in of the quality we need atm.
