Getting bored with self isolation?
The Facebook page of a website I manage is running a series of random past matches. This week has a Coventry City match.
Although I had been to Coventry a few times I had never been to Highfield Road. The other 5 fellows .in our group had never been to the ground or the city previously. They were not impressed when I insisted they visit the Cathedral(s) before heading for the pub and match. However, they were hugely moved by the visit and pleased I had encouraged them to go.
We had a good pub lunch and drink and headed for the match.
Although the result didn't go the visitors way it was agreed the day out had been fun.
