I hated the Boothroyd way it was some of the worst football we have seen, but to play the football we are trying you need the right players and not sure we have them.
We passed it around pretty well 2nd half, but the ball was played more in their half due to Callum Ball being there to hold the ball up. He was excellent today.
We have the players to mix it up with long balls if we need to.
Think Rich is spot on. We can play the passing game and applaud Robins for integrating it as quickly as it is. As he said though, having the other option is good too.
Passing football for me all day long, you can clearly see what "the Gaffer" is trying to do, but you do need to mix it up sometimes just to get behind the other team, a couple of fantastic long range balls today, two from Ball and one from Reckord in the second half were absolute class .
