It seems like PL clubs at least are slowly grasping the importance of these kind of deals. Surely can't be long before it filters down into the Championship too.
I don't necessarily mean like Barnsley's pound shop Red Bull model, but with the Brexit moves shifting recruitment emphasis, having partnership agreements with clubs throughout the UK is going to be hugely beneficial for scouting etc.
In an ideal world you'd have a 'feeder' club in Europe too to help potential signings achieve GBE requirements. That's obviously a bit above our station of course but I'd be very surprised if majority of PL teams don't have one soon.
Thought we already had one of these feeder club partnerships with Sunderland
Ireland is part of the British Isles thoughIncoming shite for the Burnley admin for describing Ireland as part of the British Isles.
I know. I’ve had so much shit from Irish people on Twitter arguing that point.Ireland is part of the British Isles though
I get the reasons why but I don’t think a lot of people know the different terminology. I don’t think the Channel Islands are part of the isles, but isn’t there a British Archipelago which contains themI know. I’ve had so much shit from Irish people on Twitter arguing that point.
It’s a geographic term that sends Irish people nuts because they think we’re going to nip back and fuck things up again.I get the reasons why but I don’t think a lot of people know the different terminology. You're one to talk about a thread being highjacked when you force your fucking chess bollocks on us all season.
Politics belongs in off-topic chat.
